Gudiya for transgender rights

BANKE  - Rajjab Ali aka Gudiya, a third gender independent candidate from constituency-3, is busy with her campaign to be elected as a transsexual lawmaker in the CA.

"We (transgenders) are socially stigmatized, so my candidacy is for establishing our own identity and rights," said 33-year old Gudiya, who is challenging NC acting president Sushil Koirala.

"Transgenders are neither male nor female, so there is no way we can be biased on the basis of gender. Everything we do will be for society, so we are definitely more trustworthy than other candidates," Gudiya said.
