So my name is Cody. Im 18 and out with everyone. Im trying to get a job at the hospital and i put ny legal name thinking I had to. Turns out, because i didnt have any actual important info on it, like a ssn or anything, i didnt really have to, and now i have an interview with rhat name. Im very nervous about how to get the point across that i go by Cody without making it weird or even ruining the interview. Any advice on what i should do?

Hi Cody! Welcome to Susan's Place!  I'm Jessica.  I think putting your legal name is appropriate for a job, but there is no reason you shouldn't discuss what name you want to go by.  Society is becoming more aware of transgender men and women and it should be even more so at a hospital.  It is typically an institution that employs more empathy and caring.

I see your new here, so I'll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site. Then join in on a topic you find interesting and learn and share.

Thank you! I guess that is true. That does make me a little less nervous about it.
