I have several DES-typical characteristics that work in my favour.  Poor upper body strength, and un-bulky arm and shoulder muscles.  Very little body hair and female pubic hair pattern.  A touch of gynecomastia.  Not that anyone would care in the real world, but the ratio of my finger lengths is in the female range.

My bone structure works in my favour too.  Although I am on the tallish side for a woman (5'8"), I am not tall enough to attract unwanted attention.  My hips, while small for a woman, are wide for a male, giving me a plausible figure.  I do not have prominent brow ridges.  My chin and nose, while larger than average for a woman, are not massive enough to make me want FFS.

My wife is always commenting that clothes look good on me because I am tall enough and slim enough.

Always had broad shoulders.
Always built and kept muscle easily.
Got one of them "male finger length ratio"s, with the indexes being quite a bit shorter than the ring fingers.
My feet are in the men's sizes.
Not a bad jawline.
It's not massive, but I do have a bit more of a brow ridge than the average female face. Or the slope of the forehead and the eye orbits make it appear that I have a fairly strong brow. Eyebrows aren't as arched up as the average female's (I don't do anything to them to change their shape mind you). Men's are supposed to be more horizontal than that and mine naturally are.

Couldn't tell any of this by looking at your Avatar, awesome!

*Agender but masculine leaning*
  • I have hips, but my shoulders and upper back are wider. I hated this when I was younger and still attempted to "fit in" (as female clothing doesn't fit properly or comfortably).
  • I'm don't appear overly short. I'm 5'6", but people assume I'm taller and are surprised by my real height.
  • My overall bone structure is larger (shoulders, hands, feet, head) and I've always had muscle easily.
  • I have a flat butt, which compared to my sister's large butt I'm happy about.
  • While I was never flat chested, I wasn't well endowed (like my sister), so I mean it's better than the alternative.
  • My eyebrows are more straight than curved (which while I don't touch the shape, I sometimes darken a bit) and my jawbone and face shape is alright.
  • My face shape and structure almost mirrors my Dad's face when he was my age (minus my lips, which I hate).
  • And while I am not a huge fan of body hair, it grows thick and fast.
Something medically ironic is I had a cyst on my face in the same area my dad did when he was younger. I was told it was more common for guys to get them in that spot because of shaving (which I did with a birthmark there). It wasn't worth the stress of the cyst, but kind of funny looking back at it. ::)

My dad has short, fat fingers. Thankfully I have longer, thinner ones. Also, my hips & backside have always been a little rounder and I had next to no chest hair, and no back hair whatsoever.

Oh, lucky you  :o!
And it took so long for you to realize you are a man  ;D?!

HA - not really. Half of it is from PCOS, and some of the other stuff, like the bone structure, might be from a minor expression of Marfan's. (Not sure I want to get tested, tbh.) And yep! Always just assumed I was a sorry excuse for a "girl".

Eyes, hairlessness and fingers.
My eyes never lie, even my eye movements even before transitioning I was told I can be catty because of it. When I get annoyed I my eyes roll when I wink they think it's adorable and when I'm sad my eyes always tears up.
I'm not hairy at all even living as a gay man. My lower legs have some hair but it never really got too long that it had to curl up, my upper legs barely have hair and my arms even without shaving im comfotable with it even now.
My fingers are naturally thin and long. I guess it helped that I play the piano, I even have the same ring size as my sister. I'm also double jointed so I just needed to tweek little with my hand movements and it's already feminine. Even living as a closeted gay man years ago my hand always gives the hint and my hands look great in jewelry.
