I usually don't like pictures at all but recently, with my face softening and rounding out, I don't them as much. I just love estrogen [emoji173] even though I might get a blood clot and die

I mean...half the world population has been on estrogen for at least 4-5 decades...soooo....and pregnant women, very, very high levels of estradiol!
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I put off starting my transition a few years because of all the horror stories on HRT. I kept hearing stories about
people dieing of strokes or blood clots. That stopped me in my tracks because, I am one of those people that hits
their toe on a table leg and thinks I have cancer now. On my first doctors appointment I ask the doctor "have you ever had a patient die from anything relating to HRT?" She said "In my 8 years of practice, No."
I feel safe with it now. lol

Hugs,

If you are worried about it then it's easy enough to lower the odds to near zero with some other positive lifestyle changes.

I'm on warfarin so that is why I was allowed to begin. On a prophylactic note. Aspirin may be all you need. Ask the Doc.

Now that the aspirin was mentioned, I remember the first doctor telling me about taking one which I was already doing.

Seriously? After forty(40) years on/off/on again HRT . . . .

"But it's no use now," thought poor Alice, "to pretend be two people!
"Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!"

I have been successfully on HRT with fairly good results for over 3 years now....  I am enjoying the full-time female lifestyle and as far as I am concerned it is well worth any risks...... the best time of my life for sure.
.... and the good news is that I have not picked out a casket yet....  perhaps cremation however when it is my time?

I'm donating my body to University of Washington for research and surgical practice. I hope my brain can be used for research for what makes us the way we are, After they are done they will cremate my body and return the ashes to my family.

It's not the worst way to die. I mean hopefully it doesn't happen but surely we always take chances.

Suicide attempt rate in the trans community is around 40%. I'd be a lot more concerned about not being on hrt.
