Hey, I've been here a few days following a special topic, but neglected to realize I should introduce myself. My name is Janelle and I live in Colorado 300 miles from Denver. I'm a 65 year-old trans woman who first came out in 2013, though I've struggled with coping all my life. I am on HRT and this is surgery year. While I transitioned quite a while ago, divorce has resulted in me realizing life gets shorter every day. I'm as happy as I've been in my entire life. I'd love to meet others, particularly those who might live somewhere nearby. Lots of love to you all.

There are a number of members that live in Colorado.  Perhaps you will meet a few or more.  That happens sometimes, and it can be wonderful to talk face to face to someone that understands you and you them.

Thanks so much for the welcome. I would definitely love to meet more Colorado trans folks. Where I live, there is just myself and a much younger trans man that transitioned in broad daylight. And of course, you never approach another trans person you have never met and let them know he's your brother. Rules, rules

It's right under my name and where I need to put a picture when I get one it has the caption like on the comics when people are talking right next to the group of people, that's the buddies place. Just hover your mouse and the names of these will pop up. PM, Buddies you will figure it out/

 That's okay, after a 15 posts I think it will allow you too. You can then add more information about yourself on your profile. I added you to my list. It is nice to meet someone else from Colorado. I live in GJ and am not out yet. My family will freak. But it has to happen sometime.

Got it Corrina. I'm in Montrose and you know where that is of course. I get up there periodically. I get not being out. It's not an easy decision

Thanks, I did look at those and saw I had to get to 15 posts to post the avatar which I'm guessing is my photo. I didn't notice that other activities were tied to that number. Soon

 I know where that is alright. My brother was a police officer out there and my Nephew and Niece graduated high school there. I am working on finishing my MBA right now. So I get busy in fact I should be finishing a paper right now but I enjoy coming on here. One day soon we need to meet up and talk. I work Friday through Tuesday, getting Wed and thurs off every week. I am very masculine looking still. I take my frustrations out at the gym and unfortunately it doesn't help with where I want to be. It beats drinking like I did. But give me your thoughts. I would like to get dressed up in my clothes of choice (Dress or skirt, made up) and be able to walk around without being judged. Any ideas?
