Oh, I understand.  I see a seat on the fridge for me next time I see her.
Okay kids,  behave yourselves.

@Jayne - you can get down now.

@Devyln - Had a lovely time tonight. We'll have to do it again sometime with our better halves. Where could be interesting.

  In Connecticut again atm.

Laurie, glad to hear that you are heading in our direction.

Michelle, can you provide appropriate shackles and constraints? And should we be expecting the honey badgers?

Oh thank you. I have to go to work now. I was afraid I might have had to call in sick because I was up on a fridge.

I'll send a few sets along with the badgers.  The lambs wool lined ones work best, very little bruising.

That was not fun. About 12 miles in the wrong direction following my phone gps.  $3.60 to get off the turnpike after passing several exits. Then the dang thing puts me on a highway going to a bridge with a $15.00 toll and lead to the Verassano bridge into New York city.  Thats when the nightmare driving began.  Onto the FDR expressway then some river expressway then narrow lanes, hair pin exits, merge onto this highway, stay left and merge, in a quarter mile take exit, ...and hour to an hour and a half of nerve racking city expressway driving. Then came to a stop fo a rollover accident with emergency vehicles trying to get up to it. ARRRRRRRRGGGG!!!.

In Connecticut now. Rest stop 19 on I-95 according to my phone. At least I am heading the right direction again.

Why in the world would anyone in their right mind want to live in a city let alone NYC?

Because it has everything and anything any time of the day. It's the city that never sleeps, IMO, the greatest city in the US, as I knew it. I went to NYU and I could just sit in Washington Square Park for hours just watching everything going on. It's an incredible place.

Well, I used to live in a sprawling suburb, where to get anything involved a 20 minute drive to the nearest non-residential zoned area.  Yes, incredibly bad planning, but by living in a smallish city center, I am a 5 minute or less walk from medical care, pharmacies,  hardware, clothing, groceries, and restaurants.  I can have anything delivered 2 hours or less.  Often much less.

It has advantages for those of us who suspect we may be aging at some point...

I lovvve New York City.  Seattle is tiny in comparison (and NYC could fit in Shanghai's dining room) and I also appreciate open space, but by living in a city I get to annoy more people.

Some detour. It looked ok on paper... I don't think negotiating city surface streets from 40th ave on 7th street to get in the Lincoln tunnel was a viable detour. I'm sure going through those barriers to make that right hand turn into the tunnel was illegal. NYC &Jersey city drivers are insane I swear it. And don't forget the bycyclists! A couple of those almost became injured parties.  Construction on th General someone skyway into the Newark area didn't help either.  ARRTRRRGGGGG!!!!

Come on asprin work!

I think I'll redo my nails...

Hugs,
    Laurie

Oh, you must have missed the sarcasm in my voice. Lol

Traffic drives me insane! Although, I do seem to be a lot calmer behind the wheel these days. Must be because I no longer have T running through me. (T=Temper)

Take some deep breaths and remember you are not on any kind of schedule.
Be safe.

I swear pedestrians in Boston all had a death wish. I'm in a giant 5 ton van and they just step out onto the road whenever they feel like it.
