So my mum came over last night for supper. I did super deep girl clean as I'm not out to her yet (I'm pretty sure she has an inkling). I completely forgot to put the valentine's Day card from my partner away and of course it's to 'the perfect woman's luckily it didn't go into any further detail... But yeah I suspect she has figured it out now. I'm hoping that might make it less of a shock when I do finally come to my family.

Yepp she did. She wanted to know what the 'Scandal' was... It was neat of packaging it all up for my partner when I first came out. I mumbled something about a nosy neighbour.

I think she does know, the signs have been there for years.

@ MollyPants:  Well, the title of your thread "Awkward" is very appropriate for sure.

I think that the silver lining of this cloud is very good in that when you do make the official announcement of your coming out and transitioning that it will go much easier now that your mom has suspicions.

I keep dropping hints for my mom. I reminded her when I was 15 and I told her things would change, I'll be different lol well I didn't lie. It just took a lot longer to start getting there... I was very close to just telling her. I tell her I'm going through puberty again

Maybe it's a good thing your mom will connect the dots. I mean the card did have it written out for her... kinda
