Hello!

I'd like to know if anyone here has received MtF GRS, or any surgical procedure, with Dr. Sherman Leis in Bala Cynwyd, PA?  If so, what was your experience like with him? Were you satisfied with your postoperative results?  How does everything function? Would you recommend him as a surgeon?

He's high on my list for bottom surgery.  He was recommended by my gynecologist who personally knows him and is training to do the vaginoplasty procedure under him.  I had a consultation with him and was really pleased with his approach to surgery, being an updated and newer approach he's only performed on a handful of patients, that of which is similar to Dr. Chettawut's technique in Thailand (whom I was also considering, but ruled out due to the fact I wouldn't be able to afford to travel to Thailand -- unfortunately I need to be backed by insurance somewhat for this procedure to work financially).  His postoperative results were stunningly impressive.  He's also trained big-name surgeons such as Dr. Christine McGinn in Lower Bucks, PA and Dr. Kathy Rumer in Ardmore, PA so I'm guessing aesthetically their results are similar. He's also worked alongside Dr. Marci Bowers as well.  How does he compare to those surgeons? I've heard mixed reviews on him as any surgeon, so any personal feedback about him would be much appreciated!

When you get a chance, would be awesome if you can introduce yourself in the Introductions Forum.  We would all like to meet you.

Best wishes on GCS/GRS and the decisions you will be making.  I had this procedure earlier this year in Arizona and it was exactly what I needed.

SaphRose, great to see you here!

Hello Saphrose,  I had Dr. Leis do my surgery.  I am very satisfied with his before and after care.  He's a really nice man who cares for his patients.  Aside from a little issue while healing, things have turned out wonderful for me.

With your name, perhaps you're a Judy Collins fan?  Or perhaps CS&N?  The song is about Judy Collins.

I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Dr. Leis did my first round of procedures back in 05ish.  He did a tip plasty and some chin work.   I was happy with what he did.  He is nice and his wife back then was office manager and she is really sweet.   He did ffs with a girl I emailed with and first surgery was a success, although the second surgery she had an infection, but I can't recall the circumstances.  I also thought his prices were very fair.  I can't say anything about his srs work because I don't know.
