Well. Phase one is complete.  To reuse a phrases. An awesome six months. Now I have started the ball rolling on the road to surgery with a specialist appointment in two weeks that will hopefully lead to a few sessions with a gender counselor, the letter I need, and a surgery date either late this year or early next year. That''s the plan

I actually feel a bit afraid of this phase as there is no way back. I've probably passed the point of no return already in a lot of ways and I know I will never go back to who I was. So I suspect this will be slow moving thread, but its purpose is to record the journey and the burning of the bridges.

Face the fear and it goes away!
Every day is a totally awesome day
Every day provides opportunities and challenges
Every challenge leads to an opportunity
Every fear faced leads to one more strength
Every strength leads to greater success
Success leads to self esteem
Self Esteem leads to happiness.
Cherish every day.

Kelly,

I wish you the best!  I think this all will turn out just fine.  How are your daughter and wife holding up?

Have you tried rotating your pictures 90 degrees before uploading, or did you want your pictures to appear sideways?

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.
