Ginger or Mary Ann?

Let's see who remembers this one. Young men used to ask each other "Mary Ann or Ginger?" and the inference was which girl would you rather have a romantic interlude with? Mary Ann, the wholesome country girl from Winfield, Kansas, or Ginger, the sultry Hollywood temptress?

For us it isn't which one did you want to do, it's which one did you want to be?

I voted Mary Ann, I have some country girl in me.

I would definitely be a Mary Ann. I love being a domestic goddess far too much to be a Ginger.

Neither? I guess if I had to choose it would be Ginger, but I think my ideal presentation would be the one girl at the skatepark who doesn't smoke and always has a bag of M&Ms or something instead. Sweet and trashy all in one.

MaryAnn was always more down to Earth, and approachable. She never depended on makeup or fancy clothes to look good. She wasn't afraid of getting a little dirty, and never needed to flirt to get what she wanted.

I loved the episode where the rock band The Mosquitos arrived on the island, and the gals decided to form their own rock group called The Honeybees and debuted their single You Need Us!, but unfortunately their out of sight talent turned out to be mosquito repellent, because the wannabe Beatles band were afraid the groovy gals would steal the spotlight from them if they rescued them from the island, so those dastardly dudes called in their chopper, and flew off without them!

...oh, Ginger of course😊
