Hi Selina,

I wanted to message and ask you a few questions on your findings for a sigmoid colon surgery.

Would it be possible to elaborate on your conversations and observations with the two girls who went to OLMEC? What was it about their outcomes, complications, and/or conditions of their stay that convinced you to look elsewhere.

Did you find that the results you were able to verify did not match the many "picture perfect " results on their website? Do you think the results and experiences you've been able to verify are the exception or the norm?

In regard to PAI, I'm curious to know if you were able to compare Dr Kaushik's technique which has the reputation of avoiding many of the pitfalls of the sigmoid colon technique- ie nerve connections, GI issues, odor, weeping vagina etc. and how Dr. Sutin's technique companies and handles these issues?

I have trouble bringing myself to commit to a penile inversion technique, signing up for a lifetime of possible painful daily dilation, a dry vag, and a dry texture. Yet I can't bring myself to book a date with Kaushik due to my fears of sterile environments, lack of care, complications etc. Finally I don't want to be stuck with the awful side effects of the standard sigmoid colon technique.

Thank you for you're time, and posting about you're choice. I was sorry to see your thread got locked so quickly.

Thanks!
Brooke

Hi Brooke! I'm going to answer your questions the best I can! I had a bad feeling about going to India for srs so after some digging I found a lady who we actually had a six hour conversation about her SRS. As far as complications she had internal bleeding that she had to come back to the USA to fix she spent a few days in the hospital after that surgery. She also said they did a blood transfusions with a mason jar. She said she still have bad bowel problems. She said her vagina after all that doesn't lubricate enough for sex. Instead of a clit she has a whole penis head (I saw it and was shocked). She said sex isn't pleasurable. She also has bad raised scars running down her labia from poor stitching. I'm sure that's not everyone's results but that was enough to turn me away. As far as his outcomes on the website verses what I saw no they aren't the same. Sorry I cannot send personal messages. BTW she did say it was basically an old apartment building very small on the inside.

Now for PAI. I began looking after my conversation with her for a doctor who did colon srs. I saw Chett and PAI's website after further research I saw 3 of pai patient who shared their colon srs and outcomes. I was pleased with all 3 of aesthetic results. I've been chatting with Peera about the surgery. He said the inside is sensate with a gspot. I will have to Dilate for 8 months. Pai is the next most reasonable surgery center that I found. As far as technique I'm not sure, I know Olmec has so much exaggeration about his technique but if I had to guess they are probably about the same but I was not pleased after hearing her experience with them. I completely feel your pain Brooke I don't want to have to dialate the rest of my life either and I want a love life as natural to a cis woman as possible.

Saline,

Thank you so much for starting this thread in response to my PM!

I can certainly see how that story would scare you, it scares me!  I'm actually kinda speechless. Internal bleeding, GI issues, heavy scarring, pain, an entire penis head for the clit, and still not enough lubrication. That poor girl!

Di d Dr. Preacha speak to any of the other negative effects commonly associated with the sigmoid colon technique, ie. Weeping vagina and lingering odor? I have also questioned just how unique Olmec's technique actually is, or if the evolution of the sigmoid colon technique is much more standardized across multiple surgeons, and those negative side effects are no longer as much of an issue no matter whom you go to.

You mentioned that you'll have to dilate for 8 months, do you know what that dilation schedule looks like, what happens if one is unable to dilate for a period of time, (penile inversion risks permanent depth and width lost), and what the dilation schedule looks like from 8 months onward?

Thank you again for all your work in gathering these testimonies, the research, and the time to you're taking to post about your choices, sharing your journey answer questions.

No Peera hasn't mention anything about it. I haven't asked but the review of his patients said the odor diminished after 3 months and as for secretions I'm not sure but I haven't saw any complaints of it. I wouldn't mind a lil odor cis women even when clean has a scent it's natural ( my husband desires that smell). I believe it twice a day for 15 minutes but I read on the review you only have to dialate the first 4 inches for a month or so. I don't see there being a great risk if you miss a day or so the entrance will probably just be tighter. If you google DR Sutin colon vaginaplasty it' Pull up some reviews.

i was very interested in going to olmec as well, but i was very discouraged by a couple bad reviews i found online in regards to sanitary conditions of their facilities , and standards of care. also, the latest GCS result posted by a patient in January of this year on RealSelf really threw me off because it looks nothing like the wonderful results posted on their official website.

I´m going to PAI in early July, chose it for location, reasonable price and the result visually as far as I can tell, is ok for me. Every labia looks different from woman to woman.

I´m not getting the colon srs, but inversion. Mainly because that´s the technique that they do it in Finland and in case of major complications, I want to be sure, that the surgeons here at least have somekind of idea, what has been done.

For colon they don´t have any knowledge, so that to me was a risk, considering rest of my life.

I am a PAI fan. Plus, after much research my foundation also uses PAI. They are in a modern clean clinic in one of the chic areas of Bangkok and convenient. Their surgeons are excellent. Post op 2.5 years and have a depth of 6ins, plus great aesthetics and orgasms.

I just went today for some fancy cosmetic revisions consultation  that could not be done until after a year due to daily  dilation requirements. I also went to ask some questions for an issue another forum member has after surgery with Suporn.
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

I think I may have seen this photo result of the urethra left at head of the vagina. Kaushik responded about this to another prospective patient who showed me the  Dr's response to this. He left the urethra head there to preserve blood supply and the aesthetics could easily be improved in a touch up procedure.  This can be done if the patient stays in the area for a month or so.  Some patients leave after the 2 week minimum stay and don't stay for the right follow up.  But it seems to be true that the facility standards at the Olmec india clinic are very sub par.

But maybe thats why the price is lower compared to Thailand.

I had a quick look and it appears the cost of living in Delhi is half that of Bangkok.

I don't think those are realistic expectations of penile inversion. Its rare to have long term pain, and being dry is not something women really complain about - needing lube for sex is about it.

I've noticed quite an increase in women going to PAI in the last couple of years, and not much in the way of complaints.
