Hey all,
So as some may have read in previous posts I've fully accepted myself as the woman I am. I've come out fully to my mom and sister. And in a few months I'm going to love abroad for 12 months before coming back and living my life fully as me.
Now here's my question: did anyone else feel less dysphoria once they had come out and accepted themselves?
Dont get me wrong I know fully who I am, and i plan on fully transitioning (including surgeries) but its odd thinking that since I'm not bottling it up anymore the feeling have  lessened. Now that I'm out shouldnt the feelings be more there?
Any advice from people would be greatly appreciated.
Much love,
Xox

I am not surprised.  A huge portion of our dysphoria comes from not being able to be ourselves.   Accepting youself gets you closer to being yourself.  Coming out gets you closer.  If you start HRT, you will be closer still.

Each step you take on this journey to being yourself reduces your dysphoria.

Congratulations on the steps you have taken, and good luck on the steps you have planned.  Enjoy the ride!
