Hi,

I hope everyone is having a good day. I wanted to take a few minutes to say hi and introduce myself since I'm new here!  :)

My name is Alina, and I'm a 24-year-old trans girl. I've been transitioning for 4 years, and I've honestly done it without any trans friends or therapy, which I hope might change. I'm currently at a really pivotal point in my life, as I just got my degree (which was so difficult to manage while transitioning, I admit), I'm just about to move cross-country, and (most intimidating) I have facial feminization in one month.

I thought it would be a good idea to join a site like this, given facial feminization questions I have, as well as my desire to make some trans friends, I hope.

About my transition, it was really difficult to manage, but I've been legally female, etc., for two years now.  I also got my name changed, and it's so cool to have my new name on the college diploma I received the other day. I also got breast augmentation last September, which I frequently forget about since the recovery has been so quick. And if anyone has any information to share about their experience with brow lifts or fat grafting to the lips, I'd love to listen, given my anxiety about the matter.

My main hobby would be learning languages, as weird as that probably seems haha. I also do work as a model, and I love meeting people. Feel free to say hello, and can't wait to meet other trans people.

Languages have been a hobby of mine since childhood, I find language fascinating particularly the origins and interrelation between many of them

There were quite a few foreign kids in my neighborhood while growing up and this sparked my fascination as I wanted to be able to communicate with as many people as possible

I actually dreamed of becoming a translator

What influenced you?
