I was just wondering, if androgynes have certain personality traits in common (in addition to identifying as androgyne, of course ), can the same be said for political and/or religious views? I myself am a socialist I guess (certainly fairly left-wing, anyway), and a convert of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (although on a census form I'd probably fall under "atheist" ).

So if people don't mind sharing, I just thought it would be interesting to see if there is one predominant political or religious viewpoint within the androgynous community...

Politically, I lean to the left. I self-identify as non-partisan more as a political statement itself than as a fact. I like to hear all sides of any issue, as there is more than just the liberal/conservative binary approach, it seems.

Religiously, my spiritual practice is an amalgamation of Christianity, Paganism (hybrid of Wicca and Asatru), and Soto Zen Buddhism. I usually just refer to myself as Pagan; it's simpler.

I believe in a benevolent God, and that humans are basically good.
Politically, I'm a Centralist bordering on Liberal.

Religion, politics, and whether cats are better than dogs have started more bar fights than I'd care to count.
I prefer cats over dogs.

I think it's safe to say I am liberal, although I will never align myself with any party. I might border along the lines of socialist. Definitely a pacifist.

My religion... I am a witch. I am not pagan (I do not believe in gods or goddesses), I am not wiccan. I don't think my form of witch has a very good one word title... perhaps: Existentialist Witch. Other words that might describe me, techno-mage, sorceror, natural-witch (born-witch, not nature-witch), warlock (oath-breaker), solitary-witch.

When given the choice between cats and dogs: I would pick a bird. Probably a rose breasted cockatoo. Although a green cheek conure can do in pinch. After that I would say dog, even though I am allergic. Never cats, I'm even more allergic to them (and HORRIBLY allergic to cat-nip).

Borderline vegetarian, wannabe vegan. I rarely eat meat, unless it tastes really good. When given the option, I will take a vegi-burger, but I won't turn down a regular burger. I don't like animal products (fur, leather, animal byproducts, etc) although I do wear leather shoes and belts (they last longer, and it's hard to find canvas items that look professional, or fake leather that lasts longer than 2 months). However, I LOVE cheese and milk, and will never give up either, ever. I grew up on a ranch, we raised goats, and goats do not mind being milked, in fact most of them LIKED it, however I don't think I ever saw an animal that liked being EATEN.

I'm registered as independent in my state, and probably tend towards socialism or anarchy along the lines of Emma Goldman. I have never voted for a republican in my life, although I would consider it if the person was a great candidate. But it hasn't happened yet 

I was born Jewish, and still consider that an important part of my spirituality. I've been either atheist or agnostic my entire life, and at various times have also explored pagan, Buddhism, Sufi, Bahai, etc.

I forgot to add important stuff such as; prefer cats to dogs, prefer wine to beer, and tend to eat mostly vegetarian (was a vegan for a few years). And chocolate goes with everything 

Politically I'm slightly left from the center point -- which of course means that by American standards I'd be considered a bloody communist. Then again, the left vs. right isn't the only relevant dimension, and there are lots of middle-aged men in all parties whose values are far too conservative for the tastes of a middle-aged androgyne like me.

Religion-wise I'm christian. This is largely due to cultural inertia, and while I believe in God I am also quite thoroughly convinced that it doesn't matter whether E exists or not. Lately I've been to church on the average about once a year, mainly for weddings, funerals and the like.

Dogs rather than cats. Or better yet, wolves or lynces -- I'm mildly allergic, so I wouldn't keep them as pets anyway.

I don't have a religion, but have a personal spirituality probably based on principles of human psychology.   I do attend a church, but it's Unitarian Universalist and so it doesn't count.     The basic church doctrines are really good ones - Love, respect, dignity for each individual.

I am actually right wing, in the sense that I just want the government to leave me alone to get on with it, but I would never ever vote right wing, and I don't agree with hardly any right wing policies. And I was the mascot of the student labour party in york and have helped (and even been paid) to help the voting in of a labour Mp...I usually vote independent. I believe in local government over national.

I am an atheist but grew up christian (I lived 4 years in a seminary as a child/adolescent.) I was the Discordian bishop of GB but I grew out of it.

I'm registered Democrat.  But really, I just think we should all be equal and have the exact same opportunities just because we're human.  Is there a word for it?  I don't know.  I'm pretty liberal.

As far as religion, I'm spiritual.  I grew up in a pretty liberal church, so I didn't have all that hellfire and brimstone to deal with.  But church isn't for me.  I usually just take things I like from different religions and make them my own.  For example, I like the concept of "kami".  I do my own thing.  I'm not a fan of ritual or anything I find confining.  I do believe in a higher power, but it's more an essence of life or something like that.  And I think everyone is god, in a sense...

Actually, no, that's not true. I'm god.  So bow down and worship me already.  And where are the offerings?  geez.  Get with it people!  I need to extort you to be a proper evangelist!

Religionwise I would say I am anti-religion and probably anti the idea of god for that matter -if there was a God I would be on the other team. That's not to say I would be evil, more that if a god(s) existed I don't think you could call them good or omnipotent or that perhaps god(s) would operate outside the boundaries of what we would consider good or evil. I guess that makes me pro-human in relation to this hypothetical god. (I'm secretly a follower of the invisible pink unicorn , the only true god of us unicorns  )

I do have spirituality of some unkown quantity and quality, but I'm not really practising. I kind of feel there will be more opportunities when I'm dead to worry about my spirituality.

Running a country seems hard with a huge range of compromises, so I try not to comment on politics to often. But I am more for people over business and generally just allowing everyone to get along (but if those businesses really improve the lot of humans then I'm all for them).

But I am doing that. I perform the ritual of sacrificing all the new growth of beard. Almost every morning, even, and when I skip a day the next morning I have twice as much to sacrifice.

Politics: Conservative Anarchist, unenrolled, pacifist, board member of Young Republicans during college, voted for independent thinking Democrats and Republicans, but since 1980--between the southern strategy and the Christian right--the Republican party has abandoned me.

Ethics: Quoting Wikipedia about INFP: "As Feelers they tend to rely on a personal, internal sense of right and wrong rather than external, objective criteria. They tend to make decisions based on feelings and social considerations rather than logic."

Religion: I am a Radical Reform Jew, emphasizing social justice over ritual. I twice applied to rabbinic seminary and was twice rejected for my poor Hebrew. My wife (ENFJ) will finish seminary in about a year, if God is willing. We are deeply involved in local interfaith efforts.

Food: I do not eat little octopuses. I grew up within smelling distance of the stockyards and watched as hogs were slaughtered there. I remained and remain a compassionate omnivore. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables. When I farmed, I raised dairy cattle (put them down as my favorite pets). We had 3 rabbits in our dining room for 10 years (as pets, not food). Chocolate is good.
