Updated on 10/11/18. On the advice of my doctor I added Estradiol to my HRT routine about 2 years ago using Biote pellets.  I was told the pellets would need to be replaced every 3-4 months.  I was getting levels checked every 3-4 months and my Estradiol levels were holding fairly consistent between 214 – 294 pg/ml range. My last injection was 110 mg back in November 2017 of last year (eleven months ago).  My levels keep going up and down over the last 11 months, in fact they went up this month to 220pg/ml after being 160 pg/ml last month.  Has anyone experienced Biote pellets keeping them in the medicated range for 6 months or more after injection?  I know there are other implants, pellets, and injections designed to last for 12 months or more but I'm looking for transwomen who have some history using the Biote product and can share dose, levels, and how often they get the pellets.

Thanks, Gretchen

I have implants and they typically last 9 months to more than a year. Towards the end of its life the implant can break apart and put your levels up for a short while before dropping again.
