Nope, don't think that'll work for me.  Skinny jeans are practically all I wear!   I'm so glad that they've come back into style, Seeing a good looking guy in skinny jeans makes my day!

As a tomboy/punk...idk about purses unless I'm getting dressed up in something fancy or gothic. I'll probably go with a ripped-up backpack instead. I think I'll decorate it with some pins and chains and maybe a couple of cute little plushies. I like DIY stuff so even if I use a purse I'll probably modify it so it looks unique.

I uh, don't really do either, but now I have a mixture, wristlets!

As a man, I sometimes got wallets, and they worked I guess, but I never really liked them or what not. Then what I had which was perfect(and I actually still use within my wristlet, somewhat) is a phone case that looks like gameboy and has slots for cards as well as a see-through slot for driver's license. It's served me faithfully.

I told me wife early on, I couldn't see myself with a purse, I think maybe, eventually, but I would have to pass much better first, I feel. So, right now the wristlet is great, it's bigger than a wallet, definitely more feminine, and I don't need to adjust it or things like that.

I mostly only get to dress femme when I am working, and when I work I am bending down and reaching for in-store products basically every 5 seconds.  It would be an absolute nightmare having to adjust my purse every single time I bend down >.<

When I first started to carry one I swore I wouldn't become one of those ladies that has an entire department store on her shoulder.  Not quite there but I have noticed it getting heavier lately.

How do you actually carry a wristlet around? It looks you have to actually hold it in your hand, which seems inconvenient .

How on earth do you get your stuff in that little bag?  I need more space for the essentials.  Where do you keep your 6 Db rain attenuator?  And my car key ALWAYS goes in the side pocket.  Finding the lipstick?  Well, there we have a true task.

In guy mode I have to have something anyway, so using a purse (or carry sack) is just natural.

Work is an interesting challenge. Initially, I kept my purse with me at all times until I noticed cis-women do not. Even going to lunch, they either just take a wallet (which by itself is usually pretty big) or they only take the phone and a credit card. I did notice women taking their purse to the bathroom more often than to the cafeteria. Which makes sense. You need all the makeup and hygiene articles. During the workday, the purse is usually tucked away in a drawer under their desk.

To be fair, it also depends on what I am wearing... Sometimes I do need a purse.

This was confusing till I realized that you call a HANDBAG a purse, a purse for me is the small one I keep my money and cards in that goes in my handbag, just bought a new bag for every day as the Mary Poppins one that Mum gave me has succumbed to 16 months of abuse and it was well worn to start with. Found a carry all 4000.1 at the market last week , has phone , lipstick and pen holders so don't have to rummage in the bottom for stuff. black leather with white stitching and loads of spare space and to answer the original question I never had a problem switching as it was right in my past life brain.

I immediately loved having a purse😊

Just don't let your wallet get overloaded; one time when I was playing poker at a local casino, a gentleman pulled out his wallet to buy some chips, and his wallet was bulging from all of the paper, business cards, etc., so  I couldn' resist asking "sir, is that a briefcase or a wallet?" 😀

There's nothing wrong with not doing well with a purse. I personally have a hard time managing without one but everyone is different! Thank gawd we are! Purses come in so many different types too. Here's a few of my favorites.

Purses and handbags... took me awhile to figure it out.  The funny part is I had GCS before I tried carrying a purse.  After an awkward week I discovered these things are quite handy and now I can't imagine going anywhere without it.  (The purse, not just the surgery.)

Phone, iPad Mini, flashlight, pen, business cards, medications, you name it, lived in there, and people got used to seeing me carry it. It usually stayed in the car when shopping, with my wallet in my back pocket, but anywhere else it was always with me. I called it my camera bag or PowerPurse depending on the audience. Switching to a nice purse was effortless.

I have long been a supporter of the fanny pack. This is very much the signature look of the traveling professional wrestler as I use to be. :-)

I have carried a purse since day one of going full time. What a pain it was for the first 3 or so months, now 1.5 years post transition and 6 months post GCS I can't live without one. I carry wallet, phone, some make up, a Sig Sauer P938 3 spare magazines and a Spyderco Harpy. I carry a Glaco Pandora bag (the name is so fitting)

I use to carry keys a wallet and a belt holster prior. Now it's a purse and not many bifurcated outfits. I wear Jeans in the woods, shorts while trail hiking or at the beach. 

When all else fails do like my mom did. Stick my money in my bra.
