Hi, I'm Niko Aeryn. Just a non-binary ftm trans* person looking for people who relate. I am at a point where I am waiting to see professionals about medically transitioning. I've seen a therapist (psychologist) for a year or so, with one of my topics about being trans*, and they know how much I want to start transitioning, and have tried to help me, but with little success.

But it seems like Canada's health care sucks, and I have to wait 6-12 months before I can even see someone to prescribe T because my family doctor doesn't feel comfortable with it. I am angry and sad and frustrated and just want to talk to people who relate, because all the trans* people I know are pretty much done transitioning (ie years of T, just have to wait a few months for top surgery). I just need somewhere to vent about my trans* frustrations. Thanks.

    Hello Niko Aeryn,  PLEASE KNOW that I am not trying to hijack your thread but I see that you had just become a member of Susan's Place.   Thank you for introducing yourself.   Please allow me to give you my Official Welcome.

I am glad that you have taken the step to become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your  thoughts with other members that may read your posting.
I am thinking that you may lots more questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.
 
Be aware that there are a lot of members here that can identify with what you may be going through.
