I've had enough can't live like this. Just found out I need parental consent to even be referred to the Tavistock clinic so I'm currently in the bath probably about to have a relapse with my alcohol addiction coz let's be honest we all need a release it's just tbh I think my release is death

Hugs, hang in there sweetie, it may take some patience, but you'll get there. Please don't do anything to risk your health, and reach out to professionals if you think you might.

Have you spoken with the Mermaids charity? I think they can refer, but I'm unsure if they too would need parental consent. Either way they might be able to help and support your mum. X

Rather than take on your parents by yourself, you need to find allies. This could be medical personal familiar with your issues, school consolers or other adult relatives or friends who can put pressure on your parents. If you don't currently have any, start with your family doctor or therapist then see what school has to offer. It is possible the legal system of your country would back you up if medical personal determines that you need to start the path to treatment as soon as possible.

Seriously, if you "hurt yourself in that way," they win.

The biggest way to give them "the finger" is to live and transition despite what kid of crap they give you!

Talk to your therapist, your best friend, your teacher, someone that will help you get past this part of your depression!

You're tougher than you think, after all, not everyone can be transgender, it takes serious guts to live and transition!  You can do it, just be patient!  One day you'll look back on this and remember "I survived this."

Trust me. It really DOES get better.

Be strong, this entire forum is there for you!
