To start, let me state that I am 64, not on HRT, no electrolysis and hairy arms.  Mannish as hell. So I generally strive for a very low-femme look.  That being said, I recently tried a top that really seemed to work with my body and I thought actually looked pretty cute.  That would be this:

If nothing else, one should appreciate the really, really long product name.

I thought it looked really good over jeans and not too, too far from the androgynous zone but of course I could be wrong.  In general, does this seem age-appropriate for a woman in her 60s?  I kind of think so, but opinions are welcome.

But I'm afraid I might really be getting out over my skis here unless I were more passable.  It's not very androgynous I'm afraid, and might be better suited to a younger person. Thoughts?

Both of these tops are age appropriate for women of every age and build. They can be dressed up or down with nice slacks, jeans or leggins. I see both as clearly feminine rather than androgynous.

I agree with Virginia - these tops and the style, in general, are age appropriate for all. They are though, very plainly a feminine garment. If you're wanting more unisex types, button up shirts, polo shirts (not a favorite of mine) and T-shirts are better choices.

I love wearing tunic tops with leggings. Great for winter, spring and fall.

I agree that both tops are clearly feminine although I love the second one.  The tunic tops are good for pretty much everybody.  Personally, I am not out, but would love either one. 

I am noticing some changes in what I like as well.  I have had a preference for more subdued colors with embrodiery or lace of matching color.  Recently I have been drawn to some of the florals.  Note that I am 67 and not on HRT (sort of).

Here I think anybody including aged men may wear that kind of tops, and nobody would comment badly.

I really like the second one, if you are like me you would look like a guy wearing a tunic from the woman's dept.  It would look good.  I so wish mens fashion would change soon. 

@randim They're both feminine, age neutral imo, But you could treat yourself and wear them in private... :-)
Also if you have male length hair on your arms - try to wear dark or black tops so the hair is less prominent, brighter colours can make arm hair standout, particularly if you have a dark hair colour.

Honey, those are both 100& girly. I am in the same age bracket and I regularly wear similar tops to work. I get an occasional second glance, but only positive comments when anyone comments at all.

I think they are both cute and definitely feminine as well as age appropriate. I'm going to order the first one for myself and I'm 61.

Like the first one enough that I just ordered   it in grey.  Tunic length is great for wearing with leggings.  If I like how this one looks and fits I could see ordering a couple long sleeve for fall and winter

Tunics are great, especially with that flared bottom. I'm the early days, with my wide shoulders and zero hips, they worked perfectly. And the second one you show has the right colors in the right places. Dark colors make things look smaller, and light colors make things look bigger. That top creates the illusion of narrower shoulders and wider hips. And it's a cool boho look.

One other advantage: due to their length they cover up any... ahem... bulge below, sometimes important if you choose to wear leggings or skinny jeans with them. (I don't tuck, though after a year on HRT it's hardly necessary.)

I also bought some of these recently - long button down peplum hem tops. They work a lot like tunics but are a little dressier, and have short sleeves for this hot weather.
