When I was in Grad school in 2004, I tested as INTJ with strong I and strong J.
Over the years, probably due to the nature of my job as a people leader and work I have done to change my external behavior, I moved progressively over time to weak E.
As I have gotten older, become a parent and progressed in my career. I have moved to ENTP though weak E and weak P. The move from J to P has been over the last two years so I personally attribute hormones and changes in my life situation and evolution of my values for the shift for J to P. I think I ride that edge daily and sometimes flop one way or the other.
At work we recently took the Birkman personality test which rates people along similar lines but pulls into the equation your desired behavior, demonstrates behavior and then stress behavior. I thought that was more accurate and we all display our card with those three dimensions on our desks so others know how to interact with us and what to expect. On that, my stress behavior is strong "doer" (aka, "get sh!t done", entj) and my desired and normal behavior is more strategic, planning, while also flexible to change (more like enfp). It was an interesting exercise because my boss is the opposite in most scores and as a result we compliment each other well except under stress. Then we just annoy each other and piss the other off since his stress behavior is analytical and mine is to get it done and ask questions later, fix mistakes later valuing early deliver and iterative approaches (agile, scrum) over perfection.
