I am kinda new to it. scared and confused. just cannot deny it anymore. secretly dress. nobody knows except a counselor I talked to. they said I am transgender, and I will have to face it sooner or later. I am married with children. never been a an alpha male, but just started feeling so feminine. thinking back, I guess there were always signs, but I did manly things and fooled myself as well as others.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Welcome Samantha!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Welcome Samantha!

This can be a scary time and there are a few other people here (myself included) that are going through similar circumstances.

I only realized a few months ago myself. Just like you, the more I think about things in the past the more it all clicks and makes sense.

I hope that you have support in your life to help you though this.

Hi Samantha 🙋‍♀️ Welcome to Susan's Place, I'm Jessica!
I know I was scared and confused when I first joined.  Through the support from therapy and here at Susan's I've become much more accepting of who I am and have seen it isn't the end of the world, life is ok with who I am.

I see that the shining North Star @Alaskan Danielle has greeted you with some very helpful links. I know when I joined they came in very handy in helping me learn and share.

Hugs and smiles, Jess
