Free CLE and Networking Reception. LeGaL and The Center are pleased to present a free CLE and Networking Reception for the LGBT Legal Community. The CLE, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do: Legal Issues Involved With Ending LGBT Relationships, will cover some of the legal issues confronting same-sex couples and their attorneys when a relationship comes to an end, ethical concerns facing attorneys and alternatives such as the collaborative law process, a cooperative approach to resolving the conflicts that occur when a couple is breaking up. Following the CLE panel, there will be a networking cocktail reception. Panelists include Howard Forman of Turkel Forman & de la Vega, Michele Kahn of Kahn & Goldberg, LLP, Katie Cole of Weiss, Buell & Bell and Peggy Brady, of Brady, Klein and Weissman, LLP. This course qualifies for 2 credits in professional practice and is accredited by LeGaL. Registration is only open to lawyers. Registration is required in advance.
