@Arianna Valentine
Please go easier on yourself.  We tend to be our own worst critics.   I think that you look great with or without makeup...   oh, and the headbands and hairclips are wonderful to use for our hair to compliment hairstyles or to keep our hair under control when involved in activities....
Again, you are looking great in your pictures, but certainly your pic showing you with makeup, red lipstick and your hair up in a headband looks very nice indeed!!!  Very feminine appearance to be sure!!!

Thanks for posting your latest pictures........
Hugs,
Danielle

Ok I decided to post a picture of myself without any filters or alterations. I'm turned 24 in July and hoping to begin HRT next month, will it work? I'm going on the needle route of dosages. Am I too masculine?

You're at a good starting point. Your face doesn't look overly masculine to me at this angle and even if it did, so what? We all gotta start somewhere. Good luck!
By the way your skin is amazing

@Sonja Thank you Sonja! I really hope so! :)

@Allison S Thank you Allison! I really hope I get to see significant changes, but overthinking is my enemy and I do it a lot. I don't know lol I don't take care of my skin at all, I never use sunscreen or anything. :)

You're only 24 so when you start hrt any time soon - you'll keep all your hair -which is great because none of it has receded at all. Your skin is really good with no wrinkles - awesome, you've got a few tiny scars which you could get rid of with some dermarolling (and minor skin surfacing work) etc  - but your skin will be fantastic.  Nice eyes, good eyelash length,your eyebrows could be shaped if you want - and that would give a more 'refined' feminine look. The way your jaw changes to your chin is a good shape - although like all cis males our chins are slightly longer and wider than cis woman - its really a personal choice how much you want to change your face when it comes to ffs.
But yeah - I think you'll be fine with transitioning to a feminine appearance.

What a fantastic basis for starting estrogen. A face with fine features and no "rugby player" heavy set bone structure. Looks mildly masculine now. I bet that doesn't last long! I would love to see how things progress.
I'm excited for you.
Kirsten.

@Sonja

Wow thank you so much, looks like I really need to stop overthinking stuff so much. If I wasn't such a thinker I would've started at age 21 or maybe even 18. It doesn't matter the next best time to start is now right? [emoji4] I have been fighting against my "feelings" for far too long, ever since I can remember. I must have been like 4 or 5 when I discovered that something was wrong.

I mean when I was like 7 I thought that my "feelings" meant that I was gay and I told my mom, she "beat it out of me" and I'm glad she never told my dad. My whole life I've felt trapped being raised as a male, I don't know, it just never felt right. Despite all that, I do love my parents and hope that they will accept me for who I am, that's all I can hope for [emoji4]

@Kirsteneklund7

I'm very exited and eager to start HRT as well [emoji4] and don't worry Kirsten, I do plan on keeping you updated. I'm thinking about creating a video like the ones all over YouTube about transitioning. That way I can share my progress and maybe I'll even become confident enough to create regular update videos. It took me a lot of courage to "come out" to my ex-girlfriend and to post two silly pictures on this website.

Somewhere along the way I figured that I'm going to "come out" to my family and friends one way or another. Maybe someone will discover me on this website. Maybe they'll find out some other way? One thing is certain though, I'd rather they all find out because I told them myself, whether one on one or the whole group at once. I just need to gather up some more confidence [emoji4]

Edit: Sorry didn't mean to go off topic, I tend to do that, part of my overthinking problem...

@PixieStix
YES, FOR SURE you look as you could pass.  Your face certainly has convincing feminine features.
Your eyebrows and makeup are nicely done.
Thank you for sharing with all of us....

Okay good! I just started to see some changes recently, and also just came out full time at work about a week ago. It's hard for me to tell since i see myself everyday.

We are always the last to believe it. I know I probably out myself more than people would guess.
Be happy and don't worry about what other people think. Most don't care
