It took time for me to land on mine, (Adam). I first started with Aiden because I loved that name but then I realized that I liked it in terms of "I'd totally name my kid that". It didnt feel right. When my parents were sort of beginning to accept it, since I'm an only child, I asked what they would have named me if I was born a boy. (Turns out I was supposed to have an older brother, but he didnt make it to full term). So I thought to honor him and my parents wishes, I went with Adam Michael (its also the reverse initials of my birth name, M A). When I thought to try that it felt "right". I went by the first choice for a good 2 or 3 months of starting HRT and the process in general before I realized it just wasn't sticking. I'm not sure if you're an only child too and could ask your parents type of thing, but not only did it give me the option but it felt like that HAD to be it, because well, that would have been my name. It gave me less of a choice and made it easier in my opinion. A lot of trans people i spoke to stick with the same initials or similar sounding names. It also seems to make things easier legally and in medical situations in my opinion.
Basically, try a few different ones out and see how they sound when you say it as your name or you're called that. I promise you'll know, you'll feel the right one. Even if it takes time

and as for any ideas, Jackie is close if you want to try something similar to your birth name or Stephanie for Steven.
