Hello, I recently did browbone shaving but not the type 3 (just the subtle shaving enough to remove the protrude on sinus area and around the browbone) and the doctor collected the bone dust and made a paste from shaven part and put it to the sunken area of my forehead. The incision was coronal from ear to ear. I am now 4 weeks post op. My doctor put dissolvable stitches but until now some are still left on my scalp.
I have some questions to those who did the same procedure
1. Im getting conscious to the area where my doctor put the bone paste, is it as early as now safe to apply pressure on it? such as using vibrating facial brush to your forehead or just plainly having facial. Sometimes I try to gently poke the area and its not complete flat like there is a part where it is still a little sunken
2. does the bone dust / paste lasts or permanent?
3. after 4 weeks, the swelling went down almost to 0% already but I am somehow unsatisfied and want to augment it more or add more volume to it. If ever I want a revision and but a bone cement / implant, is it possible to do it without reopening my head again via coronal incision? like lets say endoscopic? is it possible?
4. I have never asked for hairline lowering that is why my incision is coronal and not along the hairline, if I opt to choose to lower my hairline in the future, would it be possible? Im actually deciding because I think augmenting my forehead more would make it look better without lowering the hairline but I still dont know.
5. Does the bone paste stays in the place where it was applied? I am paranoid that it may leak down in between my eyebrows and grow there.
Hope you can share some ideas about this
