Quote from: Kendra on August 30, 2018, 02:54:27 PMSecond stage is often called cosmetic but I don't agree with that term. I found there are several functional benefits to GCS-2. When peeing after GCS-1 I tended to make a mess spraying in random directions. I mentioned that to the surgeon during GCS-2 pre-op meeting and that was completely solved by fine-tuning location of urethra.
Quote from: Karen_A on September 02, 2018, 02:37:49 PMFor me the answer is no additional changes after SRS (20 years ago now) ... it is a very much YMMV thing.
Quote from: Violet on September 05, 2018, 11:58:19 AMI am only 8 weeks post-op, but I can honestly say that now my gender dysphoria is completely gone! It is a wonderful feeling! Saved my Life! ♥
Quote from: Memento on September 06, 2018, 09:21:08 AMI'm sorry to hear that. I suppose I'm largely fine with being skinny. I've decided to save up for breast implants to balance things out.I'm happy for you! My dysphoria is also gone, now I just have to deal with the ramifications of my tunnel vision and not thinking about what I'd do once I did get it."I have been in the revenge business so long, now that it's over I don't know what to do with the rest of my life." - Inigo Montoya
Quote from: Violet on September 09, 2018, 03:03:49 PMI think my Doctor did a One Step SRS on me. I was so excited that I can't remember! Will have to wait until the swelling goes down to see! I am also "spraying" so maybe I will need a touch-up too. Is the Labiaplasty very painful? Any details would be appreciated! ♥
Quote from: Michelle_P on September 09, 2018, 04:31:14 PM'Spraying' is a really common side effect of the swelling. It may easily disappear on it's own. While I had a 'one step' procedure I am in th small fraction where it doesn't 'take'. The clitoral hood and labia minora vanished, so I will need a 'stage 2' labiaplasty after all. (The intermediate state I find myself in is rather uncomfortable. I definitely avoid underwear when in a nightgown or similar, just to get relief from the irritation.)
