Tonight I went to my GASS support group and was met by a note on the door that said there would be no meeting.  Reading further it said someone in our group had stolen money and gas cards from the Rainbow center. That's so stupid. Rainbow is there to support us and it is a privilege to be a member. We are family, whomever did this is not. I hope they have the good sense to turn themselves in.

That's horrible. Stealing is bad enough but from a charitable/non-profit organization .. one set up to help people. Probably a crime of convenience and temptation was too strong.

I hope, with you, that they come to their senses.

Wow, I guess it's really hard out there... That's terrible that this effected everyone since it was cancelled..

I'm sorry to hear that What a nasty, selfish thing to do.
A few years back I volunteered at a charity shop. One rainy day, a lady came into the shop and slipped and fell on the floor. She subsequently tried to sue the charity. I moved from the area soon after, so don't know if she was successful, but I hope not. Some people will just take whatever they can get, with no thought for other people who may suffer because of their actions
