Thursday I experienced something I've never done before. I was little nervous about doing it. First, I went to a place where they sold wigs. I told the young lady there that I was kind of nervous and proceeded to tell her I was a transgender and I needed to find and wig which was right for me. She told me not to be nervous, that it was going to be ok, and that she would do her best to help me out. We went around the corner to a chair in front of a mirror. Then she put a wig cap on my head before I tried the wigs. She asked how long of hair I wanted and I told her. She showed me two wigs and put them on me. The first was kind of a wild one and the second one I liked and said that's the one. It had bangs and the sides went down to my shoulders and the back went half way down my back. I thought perfect. That was a syntheic hair wig and would cost around $195. The other one was around $150. The $195 one I liked the most. Then we went to the register and she put them in the computer in my name so I could one day go in there and buy it.
The second experience that day was I went to Victoria Secret. Again being a little nervous I told the gal working there I was nervous and that I was a transgender and would like to get sized for a bra. She assured me that it was ok and proceeded to take me to one of the rooms. There she measured me and went and got some bras to try on. She told me I was a 38B. But the 38 was a little tight so she got a 40 and that was better. Then she went out and brought me a push up 38C with a band extension. I tried it on and I was perfect. I loved it. Felt good wearing the bra. Guess one day I'll have to go back there and purchase the 38B push up bra with an extender.
It really felt good to start telling others that I'm transgender and going to transition. Both ladies were so helpful that day and made me feel comfortable from my nervousness. Now I hope I can start coming out to others too. But that will be a slower process for me.
Well, that's enough rambling for now. Just wanted to share my new experiences with you all. Thanks for listening.
Hugs
