I have been looking on and off for a prosthetic that suits all my needs, but there don't seem to be a lot of options for a realistic looking 3 in 1.  I am kinda put off by the idea of having to swap out willies for different uses, but maybe that's just me wanting to have my cake and eat it too?  I would like as realistic an experience as possible ( wouldn't we all?) so any experiences and recommendations you might have would be greatly appreciated.

The reason I haven't responded yet it because I do not like 3 in 1's.
To my experience you have to sacrifice one or another.
I had to learn this the hard way.
I have the freetom and the peecock 3s and they both are too soft to keep the rod from bending.
I wasn't interested in ftm connect because of the negative reviews of their customer service.

this is pretty much what i'm afraid of; it's too bad there aren't more options out there to compare.  i'm not sure which would make me feel worse: having to choose a single function and either swap devices for or do without one thing or another, or having one that does everything but doesn't look and feel right or has a lot of issues.  seeing as the whole point for me wanting a 3 in 1 would be having a more realistic experience, i'd hate to spend the money on one only to find out it defeats the purpose.

i know what everyone chooses will be different based on their own needs, but i'm also open to thoughts on how people go about having prosthetics that work for one thing, but not the other.  do you use multiple items for different needs?  do without? how do your choices/options affect your dysphoria?

i'm just having a really hard time figuring out what's most important or easiest to manage for me.  no one can answer that for me, of course, but the more thoughts and experiences i get from people who've been in a similar situation, the better.

I had times on and off packing.. sometimes feeling less of man when I did not, sometimes feeling very good about myself and I did not. I had the same feeling with stp-ing. Sometimes it demotivates me to try it everytime, because not everyones anatomy works on a stp. Sometimes I just sit down because I dont want to go through the hassle .

I have bought seperate items through the years, but the last two years I stuck with a packer stp (for peeing and packing) and a separate prosthetic for em the thing going on...
For me looks are important... so I ended up saving for the more expensive ones.
That kept my dysphoria to a lower level. I am visually oriented and smell oriënted  .
I never saw anyone mentioning this, but I am allergic to the non-porous packers so I always had to buy the silicone one anyways.

So fun fact:

Transthetics has been working on a fully-functional prosthetic that is a 3 in one, last I heard he had managed to get some university engineering student teams working with him on it, but the development of it still takes funding for the different phases. I highly recommend checking out his website, poking around a little bit, taking a look at some of his products, and maybe donating to the Bionic project if you can/ are interested.

Otherwise, he does have a lot of good products that are currently either STP/ Packers and others that function as what I like to call Pack'n'play (I'm sure you understand the meaning there).

If you need reviews on existing products from that website as well as from a lot of other places, check out Chase Ross on YouTube (uppercasechase is the channel name) if you haven't already seen him, he does ALOT of unboxing and reviews, as well as touches on a lot of trans topics. He's got an amazing series of "trans 101" that not only helps trans people themselves understand things, but some of them are also really good for educating family and friends. He's one of many, just one of the bigger ones.
Other FtM trans youtubers that come to mind that come to mind are Ty Turner, Jammidodger, Max Aaron and myself (although I'm not big or even mediocre by any stretch of the imagination), but I'm not sure if they do a whole lot, if any, reviews. YouTube is your friend, though, and these guys have some great insights.
