Okay so Ive been wearing a sports bra at this point because they feel more comfortable right now. Im however not totally used to it right now like it still feels weird wearing it. Like feeling it rubbing under my arms and the straps over my shoulders.

I do love wearing it due to it makes me feel more like me and so Id never want to not wear it but it's something that takes getting used to! My breasts did grow a bit yet still really small but finally so Ive been trying to wear this when I can just to get used to how it feels.

Dear Larisa
Early in my HRT regimen I started wearing a sports bra to conceal my nipples... they were so erect at that time they could have been considered weapons ready to poke through my shirts and impale anyone near me.   As my breasts started filling out I experienced pain and discomfort when running and jogging and just going up and down stairs.... the sports bra was again a must have.   The nice thing about sports bras is that there are so many varieties... firm support or just a thin cotton bra offering very little support....  even some in front closures and various types and width of straps....   Now that I am full-time and a full C cup I wear regular bras now for every day, and still wear a sports bra when involved in my active lifestyle.

If wearing a bra empowers you as you are transitioning, go for it, it is your choice.
Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle

You may also want to consider a 'bralette' - which are softer than a full-on bra & wireless. I have one I wear now & then when I think I need extra support, or just for a more femme feeling. It's like a half-way house between a real bra & a sports bra. Hope that helps xoxo

I've got some small growth now and have also become a fan of the bralette. It keeps the nips down, gives a little support and isn't as constrictive as a sports bra. I got mine at Urban Outfitters on sale and they kind of look bad ass when worn as a top with joggers or jeans. XD

Make sure you are wearing the correct size.  A bra shouldn't be uncomfortable under the arms on on the shoulders.  It should feel like a comforting hug.

When you start wearing a "regular" bra, it may help to get measured by someone who knows what they are doing.  ("Eeek!", I know.)  But those of us whose bodies have been poisoned by testosterone tend to fall off the edges of the sizing charts.  They actually had some 38As in the store, that I tried on, but I didn't quite fill them.  I ended up with a 36B that claims to fit 34C and 38A as well.  I just got myself some bra extenders to make the band more comfortable.

I can empathize!

Oddly enough, it was one of the reasons I gave up on my old life and decided I had to transition.  Because of gynecomastia, my nipples were constantly protruding through my shirts.  When I got the tape measure out I realized I'm a B cup.

Haven't started HRT yet.  Do have the first appointment scheduled for this coming Tuesday.

However, irrespective of girl mode or guy mode, am now wearing a bralet, sports bra, or camisole; depending on the day's wardrobe.

I'm not on E hormones yet, but I too like to wear a bra sometimes around the house. Even without forms I like the feeling of it. Confirms my femaleness. Sometimes I put in my little cutlets, or my C sized forms. The wife doesn't care for it, but tolerates it because she knows it's me.
I'm a gender confused guy who lives an hour north of Seattle.
I believe that I was influenced by DES. I have crossdressed in public a handful of times, see avatar picture (enhanced with FaceApp).
I don't plan on transitioning, no GRS, FFS, nor BA.
I consider myself TransFeminine. But reserve the right to change my mind at any time.  ;D

I actually bought some fake silicone breasts off amazon to see what it's like. Wow if this is where Im headed, than I dont know about it. They juggle and I wonder if it's gonna hurt with them juggling when I have the real ones come in. Like if it hurts when they juggle. I bought a b cup size just to get an idea of this.

I look down thinking this is crazy in time Ill have real ones. Like will it hurt bad growing real ones?

Larisa,

Growing breasts do not hurt much, except for a little nipple tenderness at times.

Yes, I know that breasts are incredibly gender confirming, but really, bras are not always that comfortable and once you have a pair of girls on your chest for a few years, it is just not that big of a deal. My girls have grown to what you see in about 3 years and I do like having breasts, but lets not get too obsessed with breasts. That is for men to do!

My therapist's therapy bulldog pounced on my left tit the other day, believe me that hurt!   :D Dumb animal.  When they're in growth stage they're sensitive to the touch, and sting when you rub them.  It's a good feeling though, means they're growing like they ought to.
