Emailed and exchanged a few correspondences so far. I have a tentative date of April 5 2019. That was way sooner than I expected! Not bad though :P I guess I just thought the wait list would be in the order of years not months. They want a 20% deposit within a week to set everything in stone. Thinking of going through with it, but wanted to get more opinions first. So...thoughts?

What would you like to know about?
I got mine about 4 months when I asked about the availability of the surgery Date.

What food options are there? We will likely be staying at the Dusit, but it doesn't look like it has a kitchenette. We don't really want to be eating take out every night.

We would have a fairly long flight (11-13 hour flight) so I am worried about dilating on a plane  :-\

How satisfied are you with your results? How long was it before you were able to be more active than just walking around?

I've heard the dilation routine is a bit intense (2-2.5 hours a day?). How has it been for you?

Congratulations on getting your date with Chett.

I am almost 8 months post-op and am really satisfied with the result.  I had BA at the same time too, which was a bit hardcore.  At 6 weeks post-op, I switched to x2 per day dilation and never had any issues.  I can now go to x1 per day if I am time crunched and can get straight to depth without any issues.  When I have more time, I will go back up to x2 per day until 12 months and then I will go back down to x1 per day.

My vagina looks amazing (or so my cis friend has told me) and it feels great.  It is orgasmic (hell yeah!).  So far, no complications.  After 2.5 months, I didn't need the donut pillow and I was fully active again after 3 months but, as with everything, YMMV.

You aren't expected to dilate on the flight home (I had a 10-11 flight home plus taxi).  So long as you dilate as soon as you get in your door and go back to the normal dilation routine, you will be fine.

Chett's dilation and breast massage routines are nuts (excuse the pun).  It really isn't possible to follow them (assuming you have a job or are studying).  Most people listen to their body and do the best they can, given the available time.

i stayed in the Dusit Princess (shoutout to everyone on the fifth floor) and there is not a kitchenette, but the in-dining menu is fairly varied and the food is pretty good - so I was happy with this.  As I travelled on my own, I didn't have anybody to cook for me so i was happy with room service.  The cost of room service does add up after a month or so, but I guess this is a once in a lifetime sort of expense.

If you do have any questions, i am happy to answer.

This is awesome information! Thank you so much! I am glad everything is going well with you :)

Depth isn't as big of an issue for me (I'm a lesbian), but it is nice to know I don't have to freak out about dilating on an airplane

After reading your account and several others, I will be heading to my bank later today to secure the date and make the deposit  ;D

Have you looked at genital hair removal?
  •

tarabel

Chett doesn't require genital hair removal (in fact, he recommends against it).  I have a few hairs in my vagina entrance (which I will have removed with electrolysis at 12 months post-op), but otherwise everything is smooth.

Forgot to mention, 7 inches depth.  Not sure I will ever need it, but it is always there for a rainy (wet) day.

If you search with google you'll find you're not the only one who's had that problem.

Hello Smoak

Good for you.  Chett is an excellent surgeon and his team of nurses and specialists are immensely competent and very kind.  I had top and bottom fixed with Chett 3 years ago, and it was a fantastically positive experience.  I am completely happy.

It does take a few days for Chett's financial controller to reply, but everything seems to arrive there eventually.

Regarding hotels, the Dusit is very swish, though I was surprised at how small the rooms were - I did visit a friend there.  I stayed at the Rama.  It's very much more modest, but the little chalet-bungalows are nicely spacious, very clean, and have an adequate kitchenette and a little veranda.  It's also nice to be surrounded by such luscious greenery.  There is a social life there, if you want one, with quite a few Chett girls in the same area.  We had afternoon tea together a few times :-)  In terms of food, the hotel restaurant is adequate, and they deliver to your chalet.  However, there is a pretty good supermarket not far away (you shouldn't try to walk it after surgery) , as well as a couple of very good cake shops even closer,  so everything can be planned in advance.  And the Foodpanda phone app gives you an excellent choice of delivered food, which we found surprisingly good, even for oddities such as Louisiana cuisine.

Any other questions, please feel free...

Hugs
Julia

Why do you have a different number? I didn't get this your number... I don't understand:(

Don't know how you got that number. It seems your email address is correct.

The IBAN number I received (and it worked well) is same as what Brenda80 provided. You probably need to check with Som in more details.

By the way, I agree everything that wrote by tarabel under this thread. Chett is great and serious surgeon. He's never a bad choice if you are 100% sure you need this surgery.

Best,
Julia

If you require a kitchen or a service apartment kind during your recovery, I would suggest staying at the vertical suite. I stayed there during my recovery and its quite a good place for recovery in my opinion. Across the road is Seacon Square where you can get daily neccesities easily.
You can search my previous post of my surgery, thou not complete but the stay there is mentioned.

Dilation wise, I believe 13hour GAP is fine. I have missed dilation due to busy schedule. Once or twice I have only done one dilution but kept mostly to 2 times but longer sessions each time (1hr and half each) instead of 3 sessions of 1hr each. Depth wise I have yet to lose any. I am 6months post op.

Orgasm wise, yes. Chettawut does quite a wonderful job, appearance wise looks good as per my gynae comment. I believe you will be in safe hands under him. Aftercare is good as well with his Nurses. Cost wise I believe he is not the cheapest thou.
Life resume as per normal now.  No issue with handling daily task.
