Hi,

now that i have your attention, i am 40 years old and have a bit of stomach (not much, but enough of one to hate it) and want to know any recommended exercise (like sit-ups or some such) on how to reduce it. i cant afford the gym just yet, my transition is sucking up my cash reserves (not that i mind).

I also need some ideas on improving general health, i want to be as fit as i can be before surgery for FFS next year.

Thanks in advance

Sit ups won't flatten your tummy, they will strengthen some specific muscles in your abdomen but that's about it.

The best fat burner for me was actually doing lots of different exercises to build muscle in my bum and thighs (I used an app on my phone) as well as using a cross trainer 3/4 times a week. Combined with cutting out junk food, chocolate :( and all alcohol

I think the adage is that a 6 pack is made in the kitchen and I think it's mostly right in my experience.

Cut chocolate???  That's health food!!!   ;)
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Hi Veronica,
there is an exercise I found works really well for the stomach, its one that Arnold S. used in his body building called a 'stomach vacuum' lol !! video below.

You exhale completely and then pull the muscle that's right at the top of your tummy - as in trying to suck in your gut type move, the trick here is to focus on getting it right to the back. and then repeating this exercise  30 times every day - it worked really well for me.

I just focused on looking good in the dresses I had coming as my motivation, once you get some photos of you in a dress looking flat and great - thats motivation to keep going in itself!

jump to 2:12 for the technique
