So I want to start trying on makeup just for myself at home. One thing that is really terrible on my face has to be my eyebrows. They are all old guy style. I have fair skin and blonde hair. My eyebrows are relatively light blonde and I think that I have over trimmed them in the past. They are almost invisible where my arch and the tail should be. I have some random super long brow hairs in the middle area of my brows I'm torn about whether or not I should be tweezing them or using them by laying them down to make my brows look thicker. Any advice would be appreciated. Love and faith.

You definitely want to get rid of the male looking bushy eyebrows and very, very carefully pluck and shape them...
... First, you might want to do a Google search for  "shaping women's eyebrows"
you will get lots of great hits including some "how to" videos.

Eventually for me to get the results that I wanted I went to a salon and had them shaped by a beautician then they were easier for me to keep them looking good.

Exactly what @Alaskan Danielle said PLUS - buy an eyebrow spoolie ( special brush)

I know you want to do it at home BUT get them shaped professionally at a beauticians wherever you can feel most comfortable, while there ask for advice on keeping them under control. Also ask about getting your eye brows tinted to a shade that would be in line with your hair colour etc. It can't help to find out more info on this topic.

If you really can't bring your self to go to a place, then keep some rules in mind
1) Do not over pluck in the middle.
2) Pluck carefully, over time, like over a few weeks. It takes a while for this hair to grow back. No problem under doing it - just don't over do it.

Also get yourself a trimmer, got one for £20ish from sainsburys and its ace. Very good for a beginner with male brows as u can set the lenght to it.

I got rid of the lenght then start to work on shape afterwards. Honestly its the lenght that did 90 % of the change but be warned if ure not out yet like me it does get ppl talking

Full eyebrows are very in style. With the effect of years of testosterone, we have the advantage of not having to make the best of a lifetime of overplucking.

It's important to start with good male grooming so you can see what you actually have. Many a doityourself attempt has ended in disaster by mistaking fullness for shape. See https://www.wikihow.com/Trim-Eyebrows-(for-Men) . There are places that do mens grooming popping up all over the place if you don't want to tackle this yourself.

The shape of the eyebrows themselves should compliment your face. Trying to force them into a shape that looks great on someone will look very unnatural. A good place to start is looking at pictures of yourself as a child to see how your eyebrows looked before the effect of testosterone and puberty. You can refine from there, but that's basically where women start.

Once you settle on a shape you like a few sessions with an electrologist will make it permanent.
