I started last month on Spiro and E initially then double that a week later. Now a month later, I have sore nips and expect it to last a long while. I started out just short of filling a 42a and am now easily a full 42a and expect to have to by new bras soon. All the ciswomen in the immediate fam are DDs or bigger. I'm looking forward to seeing how things go from here. TTFN Hugs.

??? Sunday last ,nipples sore and chest too, as the week has gone on theres a ping pong ball size lump under nipple and the, what id call the breast triangle, under collar bone ,to chest centre and round following the breast line under and back to collar bone has really grown and is bl*dy sore.right breast bigger than left. Nipples hard and pointing out 1/2 inch and dont relax.so 2 weeks into hrt there was starting reaction 3 weeks and im thinking i need advice of a gentle bra cos when i lean forward i have a surprising shoch of what hangs down , i wouldnt mind but i was flat chested before hrt.  :o dont get me wrong im happy   but i believe this isnt the norm. P.s since on hrt ive never been more happier,i wish when i was 14 year old 39 year ago id asked to do what i felt right then instead of keeping my mouth shut and pleasing family, doing service in forces, while married 12yr, she helped with crossdressing and then my second wife bought me female clothing ect, i decided it NOW im gonna do what my boy feels and i desperatly have always wanted.  Thank you for everyone on Susans Place, your giving me support and confidence.

Hi, Gillian!

Welcome to Susan's.

Congratulations on starting HRT!  Yes, breast tenderness and nipple stimulation is pretty normal at 2-3 weeks on HRT.  It is too early to estimate how your breast development will go, but if you have pin-pong ball sized breast buds already, you might do very well!

I would recommend a sports bra for now, particularly if you are not yet 'out'.  A tank top style sports bra will be mistaken for a tank top under a shirt, and it will contain the girls and control their movement.

I've been on Spiro and Estra for a month + 1 week and there's no discomfort or anything yet, should that have happened by now??

My freaking endo isn't returning my calls, I had bloodwork like 3 weeks ago and I want to know what my levels are.

QuoteI should say though that using an anti-androgen for a long time (many months or years) without taking estradiol can be bad for your health.

I've been on dutasteride, as prescribed by my doctor for BPH, for over 1.5 years.  I think I've had a small amount of breast growth since then, but can't say for certain.  One can only hope!   ;)
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Started HRT April 17, 2019.

I started out with very tender nipples between 2-3 months. Now, at 7 months, I have small breasts that will probably get an A-cup bra very soon. My breasts seem to have a mind of their own too. One minute they ache, and then out of the blue my nipples seem ready to burst from clothing.
They're funny little gals and I love having them :)

Hello again Amie June

Gosh! It is precisely the same for me. Breast buds 2-3 months and small boobs after 7 months and aching and bursting!

I am 8 months HRT and the only additional point is right boob larger than left but I understand this may or may not change.

Hugs

For me, it took about 3 months for any significant growth. I only got tender at around 1.5 months out. I'm a thin gal and it was a long time ago, but I'd say give it a bit more time.

Pamela, my left is bigger than my right! My endo and a female friend said this is normal for cisgender women too. I've grown to like/accept the difference and actually prefer my smaller boob. We've entered a new and wonderful world, haven't we? :)

Tenderness and budding started around week 3 for me. Currently at week 7, and they're almost noticeable in a t-shirt, and can easily be seen in anything more form fitting. Had about an inch added to my bust so far. I'm super skinny, 120ish, 5'8", so it seems like they're more obvious since I'm built like a stick. Also lost an inch on my waist, definitely getting a more feminine silhouette.

We sure have. So exciting and so beautiful!

My cisfemale friends have also told me their norm is asymmetry rather than symmetry!

What about libido? Mines definitely lower after a month but still very much existent. I'm at low dose and afraid that it's not doing anything. Should I look for a different endo?

I don't really remember to be honest, been too long ago but I think it was sometime after a few weeks to maybe a month  :icon_chick:

This is fascinating reading for me,  because what I am biologically, I am growing my own breasts without estrogen.   Size wise I am between an A cup and a b Cup, or if we measure in fruits, a normal sized orange or an apple.  And surprise, surprise, my left boob is larger than my right side one.  The difference is clearly visible!
I do not have any tenderness in my nipples (but definitely can feel sexual stimulation), so, no hurting but good feelings.  This might be because the girls are growing naturally and slower?  My problem are erect nipples for 24/7, no matter whether it is cold or hot, or what kind of thoughts are going through my head, those guys are erect.  This is a little bothersome, because they get almost sour rubbing against fabric the entire day long.
I wonder what will happen to my breast growth once I am on hormones by the en of the year!  I don't want to have real big breasts, and I hope they stay in a pleasant size limit!

HI there,

I started finasteride and e early last week and after 3 days on meds my nipples started to "be at attention" all the time and they i dont want to say ache because there is no pain but they definitely let me know they are there.
I am not out yet but am a larger lady so i already have something there already so an increase or change won't be noticeable yet, but i am working on losing some weight!!

Good luck all!

It may be the finasteride with me, too that makes my nipples be up all the time.  Nosy little buggers!  I have no pain either, just the rubbing inside the clothing gets uncomfortable after a while.
I am about 6 years on that stuff now, but I never really paid attention to those nipples.  I realized it two or three years ago, after my breasts started to grow.
