This doesn't look good. The problem this new effort creates is those countries that are close to giving rights to transgender people might now start re-thinking their positions - well it will give something to their nay-sayers anyway.

Pacifism on this issue isn't going to work.

I'll be writing a letter to my government today.

I've written a letter to the NZ minister for foreign affairs to help defend the current texts for transgender rights and related gender terms at the United Nations.

There was an article in todays main NZ news paper (NZ herald)  relating to the disgusting attacks by the Trump administration against our rights and recognition, in the US and at the UN.

I hope others here at Susans will find the time to do something to help futher our cause somewhere in someway, I will be doing more as I find the opportunity.
