I've been reading about Spironolactone and it can lead to gynecomastia in men. So my question is. Does taking Spironolactone with Estradiol give you saggy breasts? If so, will just taking Estradiol not do that? Also does taking Spironolactone in the long run make you have bigger breast VS. just taking Estradiol alone?

Endo doctors that prescribe HRT most usually include a T-Blocker like Spiro in addition to E...  A t-blocker can help achieve good results from the E.
You really need to discuss this with your doctor.
Your doctor, after having you do some blood testing can best prescribe the proper meds and dosages for your unique body...  otherwise it is all wild guesses.

I was on Spiro for 25 years for for conjestive heart failure. My breasts were about an A cup. After doubling my dose and taking E for two years.. My breast size now is a C. I like them.

Hormones and T blockers do not give your saggy breasts. Gravity gives you saggy breasts. Many of us newly transitioned ladies have perky breasts like a teenage girl. In time, all breasts sag. Just keep proper nutrition and exercise to delay saggy breasts. Also, proper support may help some, but some people are questioning this.

As long as you have your testicles, you have a major source of Testosterone and a T blocker is necessary for feminization. Estradiol will eventually suppress your Testosterone production, but it takes some time before this happens. Breast size is mostly determined by genetics, nutrition and having an Estradiol blood level in the female range for at least 3 years.

My breasts are just an A cup.  But I am 64, and I have the perkiest, non-saggy boobs of any women my age.

The factors in sagginess are gravity, the elasticity of the tendon that supports them, and the age of the breasts.  Gravity is pretty much a constant, but YMMV for the others.

A lot of anxiety around my breasts has to do with roundness. I don't think they would sag a few years on hrt but maybe many years down the line?
My fear is with spiro effecting my breasts from rounding out, though I don't really have a reason to question this. I just think they need to be bigger/rounder to match the size of my torso.

I agree with Dani. It's gravity, not Spiro. I have been on both E and Spiro for 14 months and I have size B breasts that are as perky as a teenage girl. It usually takes many years for breast to sag. Unfortunately gravity effects many other things as well, but won't happen for many years.

Dear Dawn:
I am shocked to hear a sophisticated woman like yourself say that !!!!!!

Hmmm, I think I remember saying that myself years ago before "Danielle" came into existence.

Thanks for sharing! :) ;)

I am a 34C and my boobs are very perky so if I go braless with a thin top which is not very often,
I do get noticed !!  They stick straight out.

I am a few years older than you, and my breasts are between an A and a B cup.  With my daily pec  exercises I am able to keep those little girls upright and the nipples pointing straight forward, looking at it, almost a little bit upward!

Time, size, and gravity altogether contribute to how much and how fast ones breast sag.  Also pregnancy which is of no concern for you tgirls has a has a major effect of breast sagging.  Most tgirls have nice perky boobs for a long time.

Me and you both, I am a 38D and I go braless a fair amount. To those that think this is somehow untoward; I say we all have nipples get over it :)

Yes, sagging is not hormonal but a factor of gravity over time, the elasticity of the skin (due to collagen loss) and the firmness and makeup of underlying structures. (Composed of Fat vs glandular structures) One thing a lot of trans women are blessed with is the fact that new breasts are very firm and perky. We got to have some perks for all we go through :)
