You look like you could be the twin sister of a female friend of mine! REALLY! Even your eyeglasses are similar. Hair, clothes, hat are perfect. If I had to change one thing, it would be the eyeglasses, for a rounder, more feminine pair. But women, including my friend, are wearing masculine frames now, so not really a problem.

@jaybutterfly

You have some great feminine features there so - yes you could visually pass with a few more feminine touches.

@Shambles

Joanna, looking great, your makeup is coming along ( I'm still working on mine too) I think if you can tidy the hair it will also end up looking more natural. I would just recommend you remember to relax your face and smile a bit for the photos.

I remember when my wife was giving me my first makeover and while she was doing it she pulled back and said to me "are you ok?" I said "yes" she said "you look like you're miserable" ......I was just nervous with her doing it - she had said some time before that she didn't want to see me in makeup and here she was doing it. Well I kept reminding myself to keep smiling after that so she knew I was actually really enjoying the whole experience - and we both had a great night.

Keep smiling,

Sonja.

A smile... the only cosmetic that doesn't make someone else rich. I try to wear one all the time.  :)

You should smile all the time Smiles are contagious I have noticed that a lot whenever somebody sees you smile that can help a smile back

My first time dressed as a woman. No makeup yet, just lip balm.

Forgive the chest hair, I'm very new at this. :laugh:

Me as a blonde. I love this wig.

I know I have a lot of work to do, but I'm starting to see the real me come through.

@Magnolia88

hey Magnolia - You have some fantastic starting features - you have a cute little button nose, lovely eyes, perfect lip size and shape IMO, and overall a great face shape for heading forward.
Some pointers I can give you are this - obviously hair removal on your face would make a massive difference to giving you a very femme finish, also body hair removal - which you already know about.  Your eyebrows are plucked a bit too far apart in the middle -  you must be careful not to over pluck hairs here because when you pull hairs out its possible to damage the hair follicle so that the hair doesn't grow any more - which is why some women end up with a lack of eye brow hair altogether after year of plucking.   I would encourage you to have a look at pictures on the net that show where to pluck them - there is a an angle rule that is 'generally' agreed the best overall shape and size for them, like below.

Well I hope this helps a little,

Sonja.

Thank you so much Sonja. I've always struggled with what to do with my brows so this is really helpful. I'm also gonna start laser hair removal when I have enough money. Hopefully it can get rid of my five o clock shadow. I'm growing my hair out as well. It's about shoulder length right now, but not well maintained. I want to find a stylist to show me how to take care of it and help it grow. Eventually, I want my natural hair to be as long as the blonde wig is. I'm also hoping hrt will shrink my neck muscles, although it will be awhile before I can start taking them.

hello everyone. been away for a long time due to real life priorities and issues. i've longed been wondering how people see me and always been worried/afraid to post online (once online, always online) kind of issue but i think it should stop worrying.

I've been on HRT for 8 months now. i came from a very mascular  background (bodybuilding.powerlifting) and i really don't know how I look. I can tell myself I look good but I'm not confident about myself. thanks

i'm also 36 years of age...

I think you look great, attractive, very feminine in the first 2 pics the third you need to relax your face a bit   -a little too serious lol, LOVE your hair its gorgeous.  Looks like your chest is dong well 8 months along - are you on progesterone also atm?  generally chest growth max's out at 3 years but when people have an orchiectomy it can give another growth spurt I've heard. @Devlyn correct?

Just keep smiling! you're looking Very Cute!

Sonja.

It's all real...not. I am wearing some padding, but some of it is fat. I hope my fat distributes more to my chest and hips on hrt rather than my stomach where most of it goes now.
