Dear Jess:
Very nice sentiments in what you stated here.   It is unfortunate that some people can hate for no good reason.  They can hate us without even meeting us or knowing us... very sad situation for sure.

So, as most people are aware, loving people is a much quoted Biblical principal that is a lovely and most rewarding way to live our lives even if we are not Bible followers. 
If everyone followed that way of life, the world would be a much better place.
