Hi all :)
Once I fully accepted I am transgender I went a bit wild buying dresses left right and centre. Now three years later I still go about my business day to day in jeans, trainers and a top.
I do love my dresses but they are so much work, the back zip, the need for sweaty tights the hide the unsightly fat.
Jeans and a top are so much more practical.

This time of year, I wear mostly jeans and a top no matter where I go.  In summer, you would be more likely to see me in a skirt and top.  I don't wear dresses much at all, because of the difficulty of finding one that fits and looks good.  I only have one that I am happy with, and it is too fancy for daily wear.

Northern Star Girl

In my line of work with my own small business doing tax and finance work for my business and individual clients I do want to show up at my office in something dressier than jeans, a casual top, and sneakers.

For work I usually will wear a modest dress, or a modest skirt and blouse, along with dress shoes, low to mid heels.  Now for most other non-business related meetings and outings I will do the jeans, top and sneakers.

Jeans I could wear as a guy! Boring! I love dresses, but they  aren't always appropriate. I love leggings or jeggings, or shorts or capris. I've bailed on regular Tee shirts. I am hooked on something more stylish. I like tight pink tops. It is my way to show off the new boobs.  :o

Although I've not fully dressed in about 8 years, I like long skirts and shoes but ultimately it was never really about clothes... it was about being physically female. Clothes were just a means of expressing that identity. So jeans and t-shirt or hoody is fine by me... but I do prefer something a bit tighter than men's jeans.

I only really wear jeggings lately. I like skirts and dresses though, but I'm a bit lazy. I'll probably start wearing straight leggings more often and try to mix and match sweaters I have. Not sure though. I feel like I'm leaning more towards dresses.

I feel exactly the same! I had to wear pants of some sort for over 50 years, so now I wear dresses, skirts, or leggings as often as I can. Dresses and skirts don't work out very well in the winter, but sometimes I just take the cold and wear one anyway. I also try to be somewhat stylish, I hid for decades and now I want to be seen. Of course I have only been at this for about nine months, so it may eventually fade.

I rarely wear pants. Skirts, tops, dresses, tights these are my everyday wear.

Some interesting replies :)
I just don't see the point of wearing a nice dress and doing makeup to buy a pint of milk or run an errand, but that's me.
My jeans are very skinny girlie jeans which I love

Sometimes in the winter back in Virginia I would wear the thicker stockings to go with the dress or skirt. I do AV programming and had to in the past go to job sites. So I had to dress professionally as the project manager and I where looked at as the leaders of the project and a T-shirt and jeans would not cute it.

But I do wear pants more often in the winter on very cold days when not at work.

I would describe my usual daily style as "soccer mom", which fits perfectly into my environment. In the summer this can be a casual skirt while in the winter it is mostly jeans. I do have a few "sweater dresses" I like to wear with opaque tights to keep me warm. In general, I try to mimic what other cis women in my age range wear. this can also simply be some form of leggings and a simple top. No need to go overboard to shuttle your kids around.

I dress professionally seeing clients which is mostly business casual or business professional. Occasionally I do dress up during a normal week. Mostly with a casual dress or skirt.

Dresses can be far more comfortable than jeans and skirts. I wear dresses as both formal attire and sleeping gown.

These are all one-piece dresses, although some of them look like two-pieces. Easy to wear and wash, and so comfortable as night gown.

Just do it.

I try to dress everyday because otherwise I'm just another guy.
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

Sadly, I have to speak about this in future tense.

If I wore a skirt one day a week to work, it would be about a hundred times more often than my female co-workers do. But I probably wouldn't, at least, not at first.

Bluntly, there's going to be a lot the same, as I am not going to just drop all my T-shirts and sweatshirts. But since I'm wearing women's jeans most of the time anyway, that will help. And I can't wait to wear boots. :D Dresses have always been an issue because of my height, so I don't have many.

I can imagine a time when, May to September, I wear skirts more often than jeans, if only to make up for lost time. :D

My electrologist is the only one that sees me without make up. Don't wear skirts all the time but leggings or skinny jeans because

About two weeks after I came out to them, the concert band that I play in played its annual year-end concert.  The uniform is white top over black bottom.  So I wore a white blouse, a black skirt, and black hose.  I was the only female member in a skirt, and it was noticed and commented on.  In subsequent concerts, I have noticed that other female members now wear skirts.  ;D

I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.
