   Hi all,
   November 20th is Trans Day of Remembrance. Last year I had surgery on that day. I am hoping to participate this year. We all observe this kind of thing in our own way. I hope to be with people on that day, thinking of those who have  so sadly lost their lives.

Yes it is, and it is my first one knowing who I am.

My plan to honor this day is get a manicure and paint the nails on my left hand the colors of the trans flag. Even though
I am not out at work yet, I can explain why this day exists to everyone who asks me about why I am wearing nail polish.

Keep them guessing!

At 5 I forgot who I am. Fortunately, who I am protected me all these years until I remembered. Whatever else happens, I will live the rest of my life whole.

   I made another contribution to Susan's today. I am going to check with the local UU church. I know they did a remembrance event last year. The person who always comes to my mind is Leelah Alcorn and her plea to society to fix this for others. I wish she was still here.
