I am wondering if anyone has had the same problem I'm having.  My upper lip sweats and ruins my makeup.  I also have a problem with the forehead in the summer.  I read an article about using clear gel antiprespirant.  I aslo saw something that did the same thing, but I cannot remeber the name or where I even saw it.

Any hints or suggestions?

Sorry Janet, I need the answer too!!! It sounds like the antiperspirant could be a temporary answer, but there HAS to be a product out there somewhere to deal with the problem of women "glowing"!!

In case you're wondering what I'm talking about, as soon as I saw the topic title I was reminded of the old saying, "Horses sweat, men perspire and women glow!"

It both scares me and makes me very happy that I know the trick :)

Use milk of magnesia (yes it's a laxative)  under your foundation dabbed on with a cotton ball. Guaranteed to
keep your foundation on all day :)

Something sleeps deep within us
hidden and growing until we awaken as ourselves.

Wow. It both scares and impresses me that you know that. Should be quite a story, how exactly the first person who did this figured it out.

As my Southern girls tell me women don't sweat, they perspire.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Thanks for the idea Amanda, ill have to try that cause I get the upper lip sweat ALOT in the summer, its like little bubbles of moisture trying to sneak through the foundation.

It's a laxative sold at most US drugstores... normally taken orally... but not
for this purpose.

I have found that mineral makeup lasts better under those conditions than my usual foundation.
