Has anyone heard of this? I noticed it first from cis women but I noticed a couple of trans women make 'I wish I could be a bimbo' type comments the other day. I don't think it was from any sexual point of view, but more from the point of view of casting aside the hassles of the world and just concentrating on things they enjoy like clothes, makeup, shopping, socialising etc.

Having just read that it seems that the bimbos are actually the clever ones as they do what they enjoy and get others to do the hard work...

When I played with FaceApp a few weeks ago I made some pictures where I looked like a fun, blond, bimbo version of myself and I have to admit that I liked the idea. I was serious, reserved and afraid of what others might think my whole life and a little "I don't give a s..." attitude is a quite attractive perspective :)

As an alternative explanation, some women find it helpful to present a persona to the world.  I have a friend who liked to present to the world as a breathy airhead.  This, and her degree in marketing, have worked well for her financially.  It seems a little lonely to me though; it's also a lot of hard work.

I know it seems to be largely tagged to the images of a sexually submissive barbie doll but I wonder if there could be another side to it. Women who seem obsessed with shopping, makeup, clothes and socialising with those of similar interests are often labelled as bimbos. You wonder is there a potential stress-relieving, simpler lifestyle choice to it. You think of all the things that stress people out in life, things that sometimes we get preoccupied with and make you think is that really that important or do they make any huge difference to our lives? You therefore wonder if there is some kind of merit to the more bimbo-ish way of life. I'm quite into politics and other issues but I'll openly admit that occasionally I think things like is it worth it? or how much difference can I make? and just wish I could be shopping, slobbing in coffee shops etc without all that type of stuff on my mind. There's an old Kurt Cobain lyric that comes to me occasionally... 'I wish I was like you, easily amused'. I'm sure someone will tell me I'm interpreting it in a wrong way but you know what I'm getting at.

I love Kurt Cobain. "All Apologies" is where that lyric is from I believe.

The nice thing about music as many forms of art, is that the one appreciating it can interpret it in whatever way they want. We each see things differently based on our life experiences. Kurt may have meant one thing, but if his music helped some ok ne else because of what they got from it, I doubt he would have minded!

I don't know much about the 'bimbo' lifestyle, but it looks like it could be a better lifestyle than I have. I mean all the shopping, coffee shops, dining out, etc... I guess that if I had all of my needs met comfortably I would not mind.

Then again when I was younger I wanted to be a housewife, just like my mom, but obviously being trans made that not a possibility. Oh, when I realized that wasn't even a possibility...

According to google it would be a Himbo! And they are forbodden to surf! The salt water runs their oily pecs.

A Himbo is someone who is a strong bodybuilder, sexy and stupid! Lol. There is actually a whole other avenue of porn and fetish material.
In this case it is a mainly homosexual means of control as opposed to a woman having a man sex slave.

You learn something new everyday.

Unless the Bimbo is independently wealthy they still need to have a job. I can't see how they have any more time for shopping and socialising than the rest of us?

If they don't have wealth behind either through family or luck, then I suspect a Bimbo lifestyle needs to find a partner willing to subsidise their life style.

I may be totally off the mark here, but when I think of a Bimbo, I automatically think of a "trophy" girlfriend/wife.

Your last sentence summed it up nicely. That would be a great life. I'm just sayin'

Being financially well off or being a trophy wife/girlfriend would obviously help but I get the impression some of the people into it aren't all like that. It seems some are educated but choose the lifestyle. I wonder how you'd do that seeing as you have to be reasonably on the ball and intelligent in quite a lot of jobs. Can you just switch off outside work and make life about appearance, shopping and socialising?

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to pop on here to say a quick apology. It was pointed out to me that i posted something that was interpreted as derogatory in this thread. At the time I posted it, I didn't realize I was being offensive. After re-reading what it was I do now realize it was wrong to post it. So for anybody that took offence, please accept my sincere apology. Please carry on. Love and faith.

I imagine and only can imagine because I do not see this situation happening in my life. With that being said I believe that the job description would change. Certainly, if someone is providing that type of lifestyle someone has to reciprocate and looks alone and personality would not do it. I assume that they would work a stressful job and probably not want to do much around the house and the standards would be pretty high. I am not talking master-slave situation although I would not doubt if that does happen.

What I am trying to say that a banquet potpie, insta-mash, and canned green beans probably isn't gonna cut it for dinner. The 'sugar daddy' or 'sugar mamma' or 'sugar however they identify' probably isn't gonna put up with stuff like that. And why on Earth would they?

Let's be honest there are a lot of good-looking people that will do just about anything to have more money to spend. Men have been with younger women for probably long before we were classified as humans. Successful women are being seen with younger 'toys' as well. I will not call out any celebs or other public figures, but women with 'toys' are on the rise.

All I am saying is that if it is a lifestyle upgrade and someone gets along with the person why not? If it is not them then it will be someone else.

I probably sound like a gold digger, but I'm not. I will admit that if the anti-christ (if one exists) treated me right I would be happy. I may be a bit bitter because I've had a horrible time dating.
