Smoking pot recently became legal in Canada. After all those years of declining tobacco use, we now have an increase in smokers. They seem to think smoking pot doesn't carry similar risks to tobacco.
I have the wonderful joy of being highly allergic to it. Just the smell of that pungent odor sets me off, whether it is just the plant, oil or smoke. I was at a Wally World (Walmart) here in Louisiana where they passed that faux "medical" marijuana shinola. There on the shelf in the clearance isle was a case of olive oil. I picked up a bottle to see if it was REAL, unadulterated olive oil when the smell hit me. By that time, it was too late. The bottle was leaking and I got the oil on my hands. Turns out, it was some hippie juice concoction of fake olive oil (adulterated) that was infused with cannabis oil (3-5%). The smell was nauseating. As I was trying to wipe the oil onto whatever I could find on the shelf, I started to get ill. I ran to the restroom to wash it off. Along with the severe head and earaches, I get extremely angry. The problem with cannabis pungency is the complex organic molecule has a lingering effect. So one little tiny whiff last for 20 minutes or longer. The more exposure that I have to this toxin, the more enraged I get. If you want to see me go all Incredible Hulk, that is the way to do it.

Thanks to those insipid vaping devices, people are vaping cannabis oil everywhere, without any concern of others. Who is to stop them? There are zero laws on the matter and decriminalization means that he Police won't do a darn thing, in fear of an ACLU attack. So driving around New Orleans with the car windows down and the sunroof open; forget it. Riding bicycles thru the neighborhoods in the evening with my Son; forget it. Going to parades, concerts, Riverwalk, Zoo, City Park, movie theater, my kid's speech therapy clinic, or life in general, is out of the question. Heck, can't even work in my shed or swim in the pool sometimes when someone on the street behind us enjoys their "all natural medicine".
Sorry to get all huffy about this ladies. I am allergic to tobacco smoke, as well, and the thought of having to endure all that suffering and trauma from the Big Tobacco years again has left me with high anxiety and stress.
