I am 19 years old, and have been questioning my gender identity for around 4 years almost completely in private with the odd look on forums but never telling someone I know. Finally plucked up the courage and told a very close friend who I have known online for around 3 years, she was so accepting with it and said she's always there for me felt amazing to have some help. The problem I have is my friends and family irl aren't quite as accepting cuz of where we are from so I haven't even tried to ask them. This makes it very hard for me to actually know if I'm trans or not I feel like the answer would be a lot clearer if I could just live as a girl for a week or two and see how I feel. I just hate being in this stuck position where I'm not even sure if I'm trans or not. Any advice would be helpful

@Jinx
Oh, and another thing, Jinx,
As our member @V M mentioned in her Welcome Message ... please make a point to stop by the Introductions Forum to tell more members about yourself.

Your introduction there will permit other members here to know of your arrival... and you can expect more sharing of thoughts with other members... an as you get more involved in exchanging comments on various posts other members will be along to offer their thoughts and comments in response to any of your specific questions and concerns..

NOTE  Now, after all of this Official Greeting stuff we will let you now have your thread back so you can continue to seek the answers you are asking for and time for you to do some more postings..

Again, Welcome to Susan's Place,,
Danielle

Welcome to Susan's Place. It's true that living in the feminine role would help you decide. A gender therapist might also help but I suspect you lack the money or the freedom to see one. All that leaves is "the transition channel" which is a very informative series that's very similar to a therapy session. Last but not least, you may ask any questions on this site and we will do our best to answer them.
Rebirth Date 1982 - PMs are welcome - Use dena@susans.org or Discord if your unable to PM - Skype is available - My Transition
