I'm still pre-hrt and just playing around. I really want to come out to my close friend + dad over the next few weeks and just take the plunge to start hormones.

Super minimal makeup so not sure if that's doing much feminizing or not.  ???

You look very feminine and very beautiful and I am so jealous of your hair I wish mine could actually grow longer but it likes to take its to dear sweet time

If you can't accept yourself,  how can you expect others to accept you?

I agree with Arianna, you do look feminine. A little makeup and you'd have no problem passing at all. If that is your goal.
I'm a gender confused guy who lives an hour north of Seattle.
I believe that I was influenced by DES. I have crossdressed in public a handful of times, see avatar picture (enhanced with FaceApp).
I don't plan on transitioning, no GRS, FFS, nor BA.
I consider myself TransFeminine. But reserve the right to change my mind at any time.  ;D

You look great, Confetti.  You facial structure has great potential.  The best feminizing accessory is a smile. ;D

Fear of not passing is one of the things that holds me back. I hate the idea of not being perfect.... One of my flaws....

So, I am pretty new here, but based on my reading of the various threads, virtually every single person thinks they are not perfect, and most of us think we don't pass. And, most of us are wrong.

I have said on these forums and others that if you are thinking you don't pass, go out anyway. Even if you do not pass, people need to get used to us, and need to treat us respectfully, no matter what they think we look like. And... You just might find, as many of us have, that there are no issues, and whether or not you passed made no difference in any way in any of your interactions or experiences. In another thread, someone asked, if you are treated as a woman, and people are pleasant and respectful, does it matter if they "clocked" you or not? Since you can't read peoples' minds, and you can only know their actions, if they act like they think you are woman, then all should be good.

Easy to say. Hard to do. At least for the first 15 or 20, or 100 times. But it does get easier... :)

I haven't done anything like electro, or laser, or HRT. I did grow out my hair and shave, and sometimes I do wear makeup. I don't know if I will start HRT someday, I might. I'm wondering if I wanted to pass someday as female what realistically I could expect to need to do? HRT alone? facial surgery? type of makeup?

Here are some pictures of me without makeup on.

Some of my existing concerns are the size of my forehead, jawline, and chin, and how low my eyebrows are.

I think you will, one day. HRT does wonders, dear, so don't think you're hopeless. Also, makeup helps in the meantime. I know that I don't completely pass, but I do like the way I look with my makeup and wig. HRT has helped me to feel better about my appearance, so I think it will help you as well.

The most important tools that help you pass are attitude, confidence, and a sense that you are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing.

BTW, I also envy your hair.  I'm 67 and very bald.  Transition would involve a wig.   But they do make high end full lace human hair ones that you glue to your head.   The lace hairline can withstand reasonably close inspection (slow dancing with a guy).   With the glue, you can wear the wig for a month, remove it, and replace it with an identical one.   If my wig lady does that, I could keep my eyes closed during the switch and avoid the dysphoria of seeing my bald self!

At least I hope so 🤪

You look beautiful .
There is no doubt in my mind  you pass with flying colors.

I've lost a lot of weight since the last time I posted any pictures, so hopefully these are improved. Other than my face, which hasn't been prepared in any way besides shaving, how do I look? (Click thumbnails to expand. Image quality is still terrible, but there's not really anything I can do about that right now.)

How long have you been on hormones?

Right now your shoulders are a little big compared to your hips. However as time passes on HRT the muscle mass of your shoulders should diminish as fat deposits are stored on your hips and thighs. That will help swing the upside down triangle to possibly an hour glass figure or close enough.

In the mean time posture also makes a difference. That and a hair do. Your hair is starting to be long enough to style it. Maybe consider a style that looks good on your face. The hair framing the face helps a lot with passing.

No HRT yet, I'm trying to decide if I want it and/or want to transition full time or not. I want to present femininely in public some before going on hormones.
