Hi I'm Amelia

My dysphoria began when I was around 15/16 I had always had a feminine side I was told to stop, but at 15 I randomly thought imagine there was a way to be a women (unaware of hrt or srs) I think thought of it was possible I would love it, so then I researched it and that's how I become aware of world of transgender people. At the time I left my parents a note explaining how I thought I was transgender and my plan. The idea was id leave the note go to school and they would see it while I was at school. But I ripped it up that morning and didn't do it. Fast forward 3 years to now im19 and just came out as transgender or my online friends, I have a few friends I have been playing games with for 3/4 years and they are all girls but I was too scared to come out until a week ago, it's been so freeing they have helped me pick my new name (Amelia, Jinx was the gender neutral name I used for gaming) and i was able to go into a supermarket and buy fake nails as well as a beauty blender as I have make up and wig on it's way. I'm so excited tho I'm still not out to people IRL meaning I still have to keep it secret.

Welcome Amelia - you are beginning an exciting journey of discovery - enjoy every step of the way as much as you can.   I wish I had the opportunity decades ago to transition but I never had the courage or the support.
