When you find a member's comment or reply helpful to you or that you just want them to know that you appreciated them sharing their thoughts you can award them a reputation point...  likewise you can receive reputation points for your "good deeds."   Not to be given out lightly....
....likewise, Negative Reputation points are not very often given out and great thought and care is needed before doing so.

You should notice that you were given a positive Reputation Point by our lovely Greeter @KathyLauren when she welcomed you to Susan's Place on October 03, 2018.

Hugs,
Danielle

When new members are welcomed, the staff assigns the first reputation point to that new member.  Perhaps that is a signal to note to staff that the new member has indeed been officially welcomed, if not, to warmly welcome them.

After that, a member can receive a reputation point for making a good post when some other member wants to recognize your post beyond words of "thank you."  It is like a pat on the back or a gesture of appreciation.

You may need to have at least 50 posts to give a reputation point, if that is so, you can go back to give someone a point after making 50 posts.  15 posts are required to post an avatar.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

You might find the following link useful. Reputation points are given when somebody does something outstanding or something bad. In addition, you don't have the power to give reputation points until you reach 50 post. This is so you have time to learn what's a good post and what's not.
