How much hair should fall out?

My hair is getting pretty long, and I'm noticing that several hairs a day are falling onto my desk, maybe around ten. I'm worried that I'm either combing and messing with it too much trying to keep it out of my face during the day, or my hair is thinning more than I thought. I'm pre-HRT. What's a healthy amount of hair to be losing, and not be experiencing hair loss or pulling it out accidentally?

"According to the American Academy of Dermatologists, it's normal to lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair per day. For people with longer hair strands, losing them may be more noticeable."

I agree with the previous comment, it is because the hair is longer and it seems that it falls more, but it is normal that it falls in the day, my mom always tells me that I have my bed full of my hair because when I am there I touch my hair all the time or anywhere, and maybe that makes my hair sensitive, maybe it happens with you ... but it's irresistible not wanting to touch your hair, at least for me it's like a nervous contraction, I think XD :(

If your hair seems thinner from the root, and you see that in the mirror or in photos you see a part of clearer hair, then be afraid, it would mean that you start to be bald, that I saw on a
page xdd, so be alert, although I think that hormonal blockers and estrogen will keep you safe from hair loss: 3

Well, that's nice to know. I think my hair is thinning a bit in a couple spots because it doesn't feel as thick there, but it's not very noticeable and hopefully going on HRT this year will stop it.
