I was the guy who had 35 pairs of shoes (or was that the girl inside me who wanted those)?  I am working now very hard on getting a similar number of girls shoes.  I am up to 10 pairs currently, but I definitely  have my eyes laid already on two more pairs.

I'm only up to 5 or 6 pairs. I have to look again. I'm looking for a pair of ankle boots, suede, beige with about a 2 inch heel in size 11.5. I want to try them on first but I may be able to go with size 12 inch in a boot.

I have those in brown and in black.  I bought one pair in 11 at JCPenny, and the her pair in 12 at Nordstrom Rack.  The black ones have a 2 1/2 " heel, the brown ones are 3"

Both are comfy, but the long ones is more comfortable because the heels are not so high.

Looking good again!

I think I might try on some more shoes and boots, these end of winter season sales are a bit enticing.  The selection is not as good, but the prices are good.

Besides, buy now and use them for NEXT fall and winter, not just right now!

I purchased two more pairs of boots in January.

Thigh-high boots with 3-inch heels, which is very comfortable to walk on, and for actually wearing in the real winter.

I found the cutest beige suede ankle boots with 2 inch heels in size 11 from DSW. They fit a bit loose but with a pair of cute socks, they're perfect. Next up, a pair of Ugg boots as the weather here has been below freezing in the mornings the past few weeks.

As a comment to prior post:

There are some knock offs (not counterfeits) of Ugg boots if you want a similar look but want to spend less money.  Just look around online for them.

Black stilettos are the most essential one for me, but I occasionally wear them. I mostly wear athletic shoes or flat sandals.
