Hi. I'm new (obviously) but have been lurking on and off for a while. I actually first found this site years ago, but I was still in denial then. I officially started my journey on December 7th, 2018 with my first HRT dose. I wish so much I had started earlier, but I bet I'm not alone in that.
I'm 35, turning 36 next month. I have a really good job that I enjoy but am worried about transitioning on the job. The hardest things is that I'm married. Luckily we don't have any kids, but I know I am a huge ->-bleeped-<- for getting married at all. I don't have the excuse that I didn't know I was trans, I've know I should have been a girl for as long as I can remember. What I didn't know was that I would reach the point where I couldn't keep hiding it. I really thought I could just keep burying my dysphoria. I knew I would never be 100% happy, but I thought I could be OK. Obviously I wasn't so here I am. We are trying to work out things but I don't know if its going to last. I love her so much, and I believe she loves me, but I don't know if we will remain compatible as I transition to who I am supposed to be.
Sorry I got so heavy in my first post! I was just going to introduce myself, but here I am. I'm very excited to be on hormones and am kind of obsessing over everything to do with my transition right now. I am glad to be part of this community.
